Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast

Staff were all very friendly and keen to make sure we had a great stay, the breakfast was really good with lost of selection and high quality. The hotel was clean and an ideal location to explore the city.

Agree with other reviews that the breakfast was great and a highlight!

I would highly recommend this hotel. We had nothing to complain about. The room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the canal through a large window from the lounge. The staff were just amazing, especially Maria, who went out of her way to make sure we got the room we wanted and also attending to the small details in our stay, making us feel so at home. She is an asset to the hotel. Breakfast was great, with everything you needed being offered. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The beds were comfy and the pillow menu was really helpful when we wanted a firmer pillow. The location is really good with restaurants and sightseeing literally just around the corner. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Historic hotel from 1700s with beautifully exposed oak beams. Helpful staff and great breakfast menu. Would stay again.

Clean and tidy

This hotel is in a very good location. The visit from start to finish was amazing - from the welcome at reception to breakfast, the cleanliness of the whole hotel to checking out. Would highly recommend it and will not hearted to book again when I return to this fabulous city.

Wonderful hotel in a great waterfront location. Walking distance to lots if restaurants and beautiful walks.

The room was clean and the bed is very comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only issue is the lack of sound proofing, but then when staying in a minimalist converted warehouse perhaps I should have expected that.

Prior to staying at the hotel I did message them to ask about any dedicated taxi service from the airport, they were quick with the response and gave a lot of detail about getting to the hotel, I did opt for the public transport (Which was recommended by the hotel) and I must say was very simple and easy to follow. I flew in from London Heathrow on a ridiculously early flight and was at the hotel by about 11 am, I did partially fill in the online check in and noted my estimated arrival time, the hotel happily obliged and (Subject to availability) were great in getting my room ready early. The room was a decent size and wasn’t facing the water (If you visit I would recommend getting these especially as I arrived on the St. Lucia festival, as this would give you great views from the comfort of your room), the room itself had all the necessities you would expect, tea/coffee refills every day, also added bonus of tea/coffee cards to redeem in in the cafe/bar downstairs, shower was decent size and pressure was good. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice and soft, very relaxing after walking most of CPH over the 4 days. Breakfast was included in my booking, which if you can get I would definitely recommend, I set off early and started breakfast by 7:00 at the latest. Lots of variety, cold counter with skyr and oats or Rislamande, ham, cheese etc. hot counter with bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and an omelette made to order, breads and pastries and coffee/tea/juice.

We wished we could have stayed a couple more days! The hotel is perfectly located to all attractions of Copenhagen. We got an upgraded room with the most beautiful view of the boats and canal. The mattrace was cozy and the room so inviting after coming back from a walk along the canals on a cold winter day. The room with its old decorative beams was beautiful. And the breakfast had everything you could wish for with a lot of healthy varieties, as well. There were thoughtful and interesting notes on the beans, we have learnt a lot by reading them. Next time in Copenhagen we sure book it again!

Fabulous hotel. Rooms are simple but stylish. Views over the canal are beautiful. The locality of Nyhavn is the most picturesque part of the city. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast is wonderful too - top quality ingredients with a focus on minimising waste. We would definitely love to stay there again.
