I have stayed at the Clarendon on many occasions. Even though some of the rooms look a bit dated, it adds to the character. Housekeeping ensure everything is so clean, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, with lots of choice, and the restaurant/kitchen staff are amazing, always have a smile, even when it’s busy.

Close to London via Southeastern train and reasonably priced. Comfortable and clean rooms (2 bedrooms for 4 people). Great full breakfast with pubs nearby. Rooms are not air conditioned, but the dining room was. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and staff.

Great location for walking into Greenwich across the common. Handy for Uber ferry to all the attractions of London. Staff where friendly/helpful. Not sure what the rooms are like at rear of hotel in the newer building, but our room at the front was a little dated although perfectly adequate. Front rooms very hot in summer and quite a noisey road, especially the number of sirens racing past. Breakfast was good, the resturant appeared a little under used for dinner though. This was our second stay and I would stay again, might try for a room at the rear next time though.

The Clarendon was a convenient Hotel on bus route to Greenwich Sight seeing areas, Cutty Sark,Maritime Museum, Queens House and The Observatory. Lovely big room. Good selection at breakfast, friendly staff, overall a great stay

A really lovely hotel in a quiet area in Blackheath. Staff were lovely and friendly. The room was large, comfortable bed and the fan was a godsend. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about this place was the staff, they were lovely; friendly, helpful and very polite, followed by a really nice breakfast and handy location. But that’s all I can say, the place desperately does need a refurb, behind and impressive regal looking frontage it was outdated and pretty uncomfortable. I did get a free upgrade upon arrival which I was very grateful for. Put those staff in an updated Clarendon and you’re onto a winner!

Staff were excellent and the Hotel has a nostalgic vibe that I enjoyed. Only Criticism was my room (and the internal corridors upstairs) were insanely warm.(during a heat wave). Even after using the fan and opening the sash window it did little to cool the space.

The property was exceptional with the pretty gardens in the back too have your traditional English breakfast . The staff were helpful and fun .Late At night there is not much open for for food in black watch but the staff will make you a cold sandwich and that was really nice … I would recommend this hotel

We've stayed at the Clarendon many times and have always have a good experience. Our room was compact but pleasant. The breakfasts are amazing and I recommend the sausages in particular. My only small complaint is that they need to put slow closure mechanisms on the doors. They are fire doors and at times you hear doors slamming at night.
