We had a lovely stay at the cliff, Hotel. And the lady at the breakfast. She was wonderful. I give a good trip. I think her name was Maggie. Lovely lady. Highly recommend to stay. But be warned. Large portions of food. And the cocktails. Are fantastic. Good value. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hotel was generally good with polite staff and the location was ideal. The only negative was the fact that they had booked me in a room and then needed to move me to another room as they wanted my room For someone with a disability. This move meant repacking and some inconvenience. No goodwill gesture was offered, not even a drink at the bar. I think they could have offered something or have been more organised so that this wouldn’t happen.

We have stayed before and it was another lovely stay, good food, drink and atmosphere. The staff are all excellent and the breakfast is delicious, the location is great too. There were just a few small details that could be improved, nothing that impacted the stay but a little attention to detail needed. Little bits of tidying up, like our tv lead wasn't quite fitted properly with wire hanging down from behind it and we couldn't get all the channels. The very helpful night porter did try but couldn't quite get it to work fully. I had to get on a chair and hook the end of the curtain back up as it had come off. As I said they were very minor things and we will definitely be back.

The receptionist didn’t acknowledge me as I approached the desk to check in as she was busy checking her phone. When she finally realised I was there she made me feel like it was a hassle to serve me and she couldn’t wait for me to leave. A polite enquiry about the time for breakfast was met with a roll of the eyes. The staff in the bar/restaurant weren’t much better. It was busy to be fair but they made me feel far from welcome. I left and ate at The Fig nearby instead where the staff were much nicer. Budget hotel, budget experience

Well sited property I’ve stayed in before but for some reason this time the staff were mostly rude and inattentive. The only exception was the lady serving breakfast who was great. Room was boiling and only one of the 2 windows opened. Room was not dirty as such but felt tired and dated. It’s fine as a place to sleep but I’d be disappointed to base a holiday around it. Apart from the breakfast this was no better than a budget hotel chain.

Excellent location. Top floor has a lovely sea and beach view. Reception were friendly and booking in easy. The choice of breakfast was excellent as were the breakfast staff. The only downside was that I booked during the heatwave and there’s no air conditioning in the room. A fan is provided-but in extreme heat air conditioning would’ve been perfect. I recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

Clean room, just needed the shower updating as it leaked badly over the bath through the shower screen and on to the floor (room 116). Really lovely position overlooking the beach. We stayed for one night and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, which was made even better by the helpful and friendly staff. My husband is a celiac and required gluten free food. They sorted everything for him and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back! Thank you ☺️
