Stayed here for one night and i really enjoy friendly stuff clean rooms, AC, most important in this weather, worth it to buy with breakfast when you book, plus the lady serving 18/07 was very polite and would recommend this hotel.

I used to use this hotel 20+ years ago when it first opened as I used to work down in Bournemouth, was always kept immaculate and was my go to most weeks as other in the area are often a bit tired. Stayed the other night as I was down again, and although it's moved around and changed a lot (bar moved, dining moved), was still kept in a great condition, perhaps not as immaculate as it used to be, but still in an excellent state

Generally a good option for a short stay - would not recommend for longer than 2 nights Pros: 1. ~5-7min walk to beach, or about 12-15 min if you are walking to the pier. 2. On first impression the hotel is well maintained, lovely lobby 3. Parking available onsite - although £15 this was for full 24 hours so we were able to leave our car there after checking out and spend more time on the beach before going home. This was a great help in making the most of our stay 4. Lovely sized room with excellent air conditioning - much needed during this heatwave! 5. Comfortable beds and pillows. 6. Breakfast tasted nice but very very limited choice. Cons: 1. There was an infestation of flies in our room (see picture) around the window and they felt flying into us and any food we had in the room! The room was also incredibly dusty. I had to go downstairs and ask for someone to clean the room, They were not able to clean it straight away so we asked for a hoover and gave the room a good vacuum clean myself to get rid of the flies and dust. This was a very big let down. 2. No curtain in room (105) which meant that at sunrise 5am we were woken up by the light and unable to go back to sleep! 3. We only had small hand towels and no bath towels like my friend in neighbouring room had. It felt as though the room was not prepared well for us. 4. We had booked a room for 3 people and was only given 1 key card. I did ask for another key card but was told I would get it later- never got it.

The service was not great apart from the manager trying to help out, room Was not cleaned until We got back very late afternoon whilst we were in our room they came to clean it. The cleaner was cleaning our cups with a cloth which she dropped and picked backup and carried on cleaning the cups… awful There was a wedding on the Friday night in London he function room and the tablecloths used were still On the floor in a bundle when we left on the Sunday

We stayed one night en route south It was quite acceptable and reasonable value for money. 👍 clean and quiet room, on-street parking payable between 9am and around 6pm but free overnight, good location in quiet road close to restaurants and shops if you need them, wonderful big bath towels, comfy bed, tea/coffee in room 👎 small room (wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple of nights tbh), £15 for hotel parking, cheap shower gel, restaurant closes at 20:15, lift wasn’t working

Good location. Very helpful staff, nice room. Had a good stay and would stay again. However a couple of minor issues. Lift not working. Tired and scruffy in some areas,including stairs hall way and parts of our room. Needs a repaint.

Great location. Comfortable room. Generally, this hotel holds so much promise, but one cannot but notice the subtle traces of neglect and an encroachment of disrepair-from reception, to hallways, to the room and bathroom. In all, a fair stay, that could very easily be so much better with a little more attention to detail. The staff were very helpful.

Our stay at this hotel was great. It is a very cosy hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room could benefit from a deeper clean. There was visible dust inside the AC unit, as well as on the side table and coffee table. The carpet also needed cleaning. These are small issues, but addressing them would make the stay even better.

This was a last minute booking as they had air conditioning. We were extremely impressed with the staff and accommodations for the price. The restaurant was also very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.
