We've stayed before this time decided to upgrade our room. Got in late from a local festival, checked ourselves in. Room was clean and property well maintained, my only real grumble is whilst our room was on the first floor, immediately out of our window was a carpark with electric car chargers, which we could hear early in the morning. It was also akward to then open the blind in the morning as people were sat charging their cars parked adjacent to our window. With that in mind better lighting in the room could be provided other than just the 2 bedside lamps. Second stay here so was a bit disappointed

Room was nice size . Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Big problem was it was like sleeping in a sauna. No ventilation. Windows restricted to openings of about two inches, No AC and the fan provided was completely ineffective. I would not stay here again unless it is the middle of winter.

The big downside was the lack of air con in the bedrooms which was a total surprise. Given the 30+ temperatures, this led to a very uncomfortable night. The main thing you want from a hotel is a good nights sleep and unfortunately that was not possible. Air con is the building downstairs but not in the corridors of the bedroom floors or in the rooms themselves. A couple of fans were supplied but did nothing but circulate the hot air. When I arrived to my room, the windows were open and blind up so the room had been flooded with sun all day. Fans only operated if you had the keycard in the slot. Fans were also noisy so impossible to get a good sleep whilst they were on. The reception and breakfast area was really good but based on the above, I would not stay again.
