We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was excellent...small room but that is the norm for Europe and we did pay for budget room. The hotel is in a perfect spot to walk from the train station and walkable to the rest of the city as well. Except for the grouchy IT-like guy on in the morning everyone at this hotel was amazing to interact with. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Make sure you leave your eggs boiling for longer as the 3 minute rule doesn't seem to work with the machine they have lol.

A really great stay. A very friendly welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value. Although you had to pay for the car park it was very secure and off the street. It is brilliantly close to the centre of Metz which we thought was a great city. It is a great stopover if you are travelling to Italy or beyond.

The rooms are small but worked for us. We did miss having a mini fridge in the room. I know there is not a lot of room but under the desk would work perfectly. The staff overall was good but we did not get a welcoming feeling. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of communication about the restaurant hours. We came down one evening to see if they could seat us and we were told it was closed to the public for a private group. We saw no signs and had stopped in earlier asking to see a menu. A little information about the closure would have been nice.
