Regina Hotel

The reception staff was super friendly and helpful. However a few issues. I got room 410. Took elevator to 4th floor. Turns out some of the 4xx trims are ar a 5th floor and you got to haul your suitcase up a narrow staircase. The cups in the room are chipped, and no handle so when you make tea, the cups are too hot to hold. The airco is insufficient, it made the room only drop a few degrees. And I chase a bunch of mosquitoes that were in the room when I got there. In the morning I had 2 mosquito bites in my forehead and a few on my arms. Great view for pictures taking during sightseeing. I came back late night after our whole day, and the door of my room was not properly close by housekeeping. Been like that whole day long. Luckily I didn’t find anything missing. I noticed myself that I had to pull on the door to close it, I would assume housekeeping would know that too. On check out, I asked if I could check out half hour later so I can early morning still hit a museum before checkout. When I was reading doing last toilet before leaving room, housekeeping entered the room. I would expect they should know if customers didn’t check out yet. The towels were a little bit on the used side.

The room was really small, but that’s more of a Europe thing than a specific thing. The staff were amazing! Super kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. The location is fantastic. As with many hotels we’ve seen so far, this one seems to be fit into an older building so it’s not like a new Holiday Inn in any town in the US, but it’s a fantastic place to stay in Avignon. Did I mention the staff was fantastic? You couldn’t ask for nicer people.

Good location but room and towels are not clean.

Room was small but to be expected given the excellent central location. All clean and facilities in working order. Staff helpful and directed us to the left luggage room both before our check in and after. We chose the hotel for its location and it did not disappoint. Secure entrance from the street. Room was quiet and comfortable.

I reserved a room with two beds, for two nights. When we checked in, there was a room, but it only had one bed. We had to deal with the one bed for one night, but they did change it for the second night. It was not the end of the world, but it was not what I had reserved. Our room did not look like the room photos that are currently online. The sink in our bathroom had some mold around the caulking. The room itself was much smaller than online photos. There was a light hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room with a lampshade around it. The light and lampshade were quite dusty and the air from the air conditioner hit it, so when it swayed, the dust would disperse through the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would probably recommend staying somewhere else if you happen to be in Avignon.

Cute, old hotel very close to the city center and just a walk away from the bus station from which we did trips to St. Remy-de-Provence and to Pont du Gard. Fun little hotel, with a very comfortable room. Lots of space in the room and well-laid out bathroom. The hotel had an old fashioned lift that did the job and was fun to ride in. The only minor downside was that the water didn't always get really hot but it was passable. We enjoyed our four nights here and appreciated the convenience of the location beside a very fun square with lots of restaurants.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean room, air conditioning.

Excellent location for visiting the famous attractions. Just a few blocks from palais des papes. Super clean room. Basic furnishings but great value for the price. The only significant downside is that parking is difficult. You will probably need to park in a lot and walk multiple blocks to reach the hotel.

Excellent staff, AC worked well. Location couldn't be better. Minor issues relating to bathroom with odd smell coming from sink and general maintenance due to humidity due to lack of proper ventilation system.

Chambre très propre, staff excellent et emplacement idéal. Seul bémol, difficile d'accès avec les valises car la vieille ville est fermée aux automobiles durant le jour.

Lovely boutique hotel with a friendly staff! Our room was so comfortable and the hotel is perfectly located. We had a rental car and the street in front of the hotel closes to traffic at 11:00. We were able to drop off our luggage for storage and then park the car. We enjoyed the town a bit before checkin. We also Received a 20% discount on overnight parking. Highly recommend!

Our room was clean. Beds comfortable. Liked our little terrace over Rue Republic. Great location within the center of town and an easy walk to the train station.

We never stayed in the hotel because there were problems with the room so they moved us to another hotel which was barely ok.
