Pilvax Hotel Budapest

The hotel needs repairs , holes in the ceilings of the lobby , wires hanging down , smoke detectors hanging from the ceiling as well. After four days the same items kept coming out for breakfast

Nice place, room was clean, all was fine, nice hotel staff, we were even given a breakfest away ( as we had very early flight) only noise from the pub which is outside makes you awake after midnight.

The hotel is a stone's throw away from the town center, with lot of options for food, entertainment and transport. The property seems old, which is perhaps why the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. If you can look past that, excellent choice for the price.

Stayed only a couple of nights but if I go back to Budapest. I would stay here each and every time. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room wss comfortable and clean and also more spacious than most. Breakfast is available and I can highly recommend the food available. Special thanks to the conceirge staff who wwre fruendly and very professional. Nothing was a bother for them and they made my stay there even more enjoyable.

Very rude staff. No change of towels after 4 night stay. No lift and had to pay for staff member to take my case upstairs. Charge for left luggage (after 10am). No kettle in room (again an extra charge). 1st breakfast started at 7.30 and not a minute earlier! Would not stay again.

Fantastic location for sightseeing. Clean and friendly. Irish bar next door was a bit loud during the night but I would still recommend this hotel.

The bathroom very small and didn’t have soap in the shower, and no garbage can in the bedroom, some of the lights didn’t work!! The location is very good but no parking anywhere, one star .

Very centrally situated. In a pedestran street, so no traffic abount. Bad point is there is no lift. So you have to lug your cases up two or three floors to get to your room.

Old fashioned building with lovely decor, very spacious rooms.

The radiator was on full blast when I walked into the room when it was 25 Degress outside and when I switched it off, the radiator constantly made a hissing sound throughout the night so I didn't sleep well. Also, the paperwork states check out is 11am however Reception told me it was 10am

Location is the key to this hotel. It’s literally in the centre of the city and we were able to walk to all the main sites and shopping areas without any need for using taxis or public transport. If your after a cheap place to stay in a premium location then the hotel is perfect. The breakfast is as expected with a selection of pastries, cereals, cooked eggs and sausages tea/coffee etc nothing fancy but we found it enough every day. I couldn’t fault the cleaning in the room although the room itself is a little basic and whilst I get that it’s not expensive it wouldn’t take a lot to put some complimentary tea/coffee or upgrade the lights a little in the rooms just to raise the standard. The staff were all really helpful, the guy at breakfast was always very polite and works away to keep everything stocked, the desk staff were good too, we had a couple of little requests that we made whilst we were there and they were genuinely helpful and looked after us. To sum up, if you want somewhere ideally located but don’t want to pay the premium prices this place is perfect, it’s a little simple but you get what you pay for....

Location was very ideal to explore the city on foot. Can see all Budapest’s best sightseing spots. I will choose this hotel again. Shower room is small.

The desk staff were friendly and helpful. Than you Irdico, Milan, and Ana. Great location in the city center. The carpet could use upgrade. No mini shampoo bottles.

The location was perfect for our touristy plans. We walked everywhere except the baths.
