The place is nice. Comfortable. Clean. The staff are all friendly. Success for Pascamp Park.

It was a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious compared to even some typical hotels. The water is clear, the air conditioning works well, and the atmosphere is relatively quiet despite its proximity to the main road (it's quite a walk from the main road, as it's located within a tourist village). The location is in the same direction as the trail up to the Ijen crater. The owner is also friendly and kind. Recommended.

Spending 2 nights here (May 27-28, 2026) was the best decision. The red brick design is unique and very Instagrammable, giving it a traditional aesthetic. The atmosphere of this homestay is very beautiful, calm, and makes you feel at home (very homey!). The room is clean, tidy, with cold air conditioning, and a hot bathroom. The owner is friendly and loves to tell stories. The location is also strategic and easily accessible. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with a strong local feel in Banyuwangi. Definitely will come back again! Thank you Bata Merah Homestay!

A very comfortable stay, from the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the strategic location. The staff are very responsive and friendly, and the swimming pool is also clean and comfortable. Overall, I love it here.
