The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. We were given what appeared to be an upgraded room, as it could accommodate four people. They even provided breakfast toast for four at 4 a.m., knowing I was participating in the Siksorogo Ring of Lawu. Amazing!

To get here, don't go via Ngawi, as the road is very rough. It's better to go via Sragen. The hotel is nice and clean, with a wide selection of food. The fruit and traditional snacks are delicious in the cold weather. It's very close to Cetho Temple. After leaving the hotel, walk up to the top and there are many food stalls, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry. The view is stunning.
