Gateway Pasteur Apartemen By SPH

The Pasteur Gateway apartment complex is nice and pleasant. However, we were very disappointed with the condition of the unit we rented. The cleanliness was okay, but the facilities inside, as seen in the photos, were completely unsuitable for rent. First, the following: 1. The AC wasn't cooling, just blowing air. 2. The sofa cover was of very poor quality, with numerous holes and dirty spots. 3. The bedroom window made me want to vomit because it looked like it had never been cleaned; it was just covered with curtains. To this day, I still regret trying to open the window. 4. The bedsheets were shabby and unbecoming of guests who paid a decent amount of money to experience such conditions. Frankly, I couldn't even sleep there. I booked for two nights. 5. The two-bedroom unit for three people only provided one towel. There was a pillow in the closet, but it was in disgusting condition and there was no pillowcase. Ugh, please, SPH management, please pay attention to the unit's amenities; we paid for it. Are you guys unwilling to spend money on just providing us with decent sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels, not those shabby ones? Oh my, our staycation at the apartment was a very unpleasant experience. If you don't want to spend money, don't rent the unit out to guests. Honestly, we're very disappointed. Here's some advice: try improving the facilities in the unit. The capital for the equipment we mentioned above won't be much; you're in business, not renting out units. Sorry to say, highly not recommended.

The Gateway Apartment Pasteur is okay, but the room amenities are not so good. The mattress, sheets, and sofa are poor and dirty. The staff is friendly and responsive.

Are the facilities incomplete? There's no Wi-Fi, no TV subscription, and the room smells awful. The toilet light doesn't work, and it's also dirty. The stove won't work, and the refrigerator is dead. The water gallon is dirty, and the chairs are ugly. The building is already ugly, and it's expensive!

Booked a studio, on the day of the event, they contacted me that the unit was sold out, then I was told to move to another hotel location or upgrade to a 1 bedroom, so I didn't want to upgrade, but when I upgraded, the room was really bad, the AC was dead, the water was clogged, there were lots of cockroaches, I contacted the manager and they said yes, yes, they came, no, I was fed up and didn't want to anymore, I had to deposit 200 thousand, usually luxury hotels only charge 100 thousand.

I don't know how it's usually like staying in an apartment because hotels are usually easy and convenient. Customers have to be creative in contacting the admin. Otherwise, they'll be confused when they arrive at the parking lot because the place is so spacious. Even when asked about the security guard, they don't know because there are many rental agents. When we met at the office, we had to make a 200,000 IDR deposit as collateral in addition to our ID card, then we were escorted to our room. The blanket in the room smelled of musty. The toilet's shower jet was broken. The bathroom door was dirty. The door lock was difficult to remove. The room's AC wasn't cold at all. 16 degrees felt like 28 degrees. It was colder outside than inside. If you don't ask the admin, you won't get any information. Even when you get there, the karaoke people are screaming. Parking is the customer's responsibility. Last night it cost 34,000 IDR. After checking out, the deposit wasn't immediately given. I had to wait until the afternoon before the admin transferred it. The admin didn't explain when the money would be transferred. You have to ask first! Then the admin will give you the information.

No cutlery, no parking. Not recommended for those on vacation.

Dirty, towels were not clean enough, deposit was returned after 2 o'clock, there was no soap, towels were not suitable.

If I go on holiday to Bandung with my family, God willing, I will stay here again.

It's complicated, you have to deposit first, then pay VC first, you have to wait a long time, it's the strangest thing in my opinion, it's not simple.

Some reasons to review this accommodation, based on my experience: 1. Clean, fragrant rooms, from the bed, bathroom, balcony, etc. 2. Friendly, responsive, and very helpful admin. If you have any issues with the room, simply communicate with the admin and they'll address them immediately. Don't stay silent, as they won't be resolved. 3. Hassle-free check-in: just take a photo of your ID, send a deposit, and receive the key, and the deposit is returned the same day. 4. Affordable prices. Highly recommended.

When checking in and out, the office staff were less than friendly. This should be taken into consideration for guest comfort.

For a break/staycation at this price, this is really good, close to everywhere, lots of food too! What I like is, the admin is very friendly, ask for what you requested and they gave it, thank you! I won't regret it, I swear🫶🏻

It is cheap. However: 1. No running water. My guest checked in at 9 PM with no running water. And the water is still not running in the morning. Not acceptable 2. Room was okay, not super clean but barely acceptable. Nothing special. 3. We are required to deposit another IDR 200k. When the room is already paid in full and no prior notification. I have to TRANSFER the money in the middle of the night. And HAVE to provide BCA account number otherwise it cannot be refunded. Again, unacceptable. Cheap, yes. But please be wary. Not recommended

Fast response admin, comfortable place, complete facilities, large swimming pool, cheap food prices... highly recommended, will come here again

You should just use your ID card as collateral, not a deposit, it's complicated to take it out

We were very disappointed. It was a really unpleasant experience. The room smelled really bad. The smell of cigarettes, musty, I don't know what else. Even after the AC was turned on for a few hours, it still smelled. The cleanliness aspect was the worst. The drawers and cupboards, eating and cooking utensils, were all dirty and messy. There was even a lot of gecko poop in the dish drawer, eww. The bathroom was moldy. We didn't dare to take a shower here. The apartment was very neglected. The sheets on one of the beds were very shabby and smelly. Luckily the other 2 were clean so we still dared to sleep. The sofa was dirty and smelly. Only 1 AC remote could be used, the other one had no batteries 🤣 There were no basic amenities. There really was nothing at all. Soap, drinking water, towels, wifi. There was a stove (dirty) but no gas. There was a refrigerator but it smelled (like it hadn't been turned on for a long time). Got the price almost 700 thousand after tax, not worth it at all. Finding parking was also difficult. Won't be back never ever.
