I hope no one else experiences the same thing. The room was absolutely filthy. I needed rest because I had to leave tomorrow, but I couldn't sleep. It seemed like there were fleas, my body was itchy, and there were even mosquitoes. The room smelled, and it was truly heartbreaking. I intended to get a nice room, but it turned out to be a dud. Just because it was cheap, the facilities were terrible. They were cruel, with all the equipment broken. The location on the map was also a mess.

Our family found the hotel to be extremely poor. There was no staff on standby in the lobby at check-in; we had to wait for the shift change before being served. The room was also uncomfortable: the broken TV was still in use, there was no Wi-Fi, no tissue provided, the bathroom was dirty, and the shower faucet was broken. There were also cats roaming around in front of the room. Many of the hotel facilities were also damaged. It was a very uncomfortable stay at this hotel.

If this were properly managed, it could be a very, very family-friendly hotel! It's actually a nice hotel, but it's a shame the pictures and the reality when we arrived were 90% different. Trash was piled up in every corner, especially diaper waste, and it already smelled, like it hadn't been mopped for weeks or even months. There were a lot of rooms with various views and sizes, but only three were open, and my family, who occupied the empty ones, saw that they hadn't been tidied up or cleaned. When I checked again, it said all the rooms were sold out even though they were completely empty. It just looked like an abandoned hotel. Hopefully the owner can improve and upgrade everything, I'm sure this will be one of the hotels of choice in Bogor in the future. 80% of the facilities advertised were missing. There was no Wi-Fi, no TV, no hot water. Thankfully, I could still take a shower, as the water was still flowing fast, but there was no hot water. All amenities had to be requested, not provided immediately. The staff were friendly, but not very helpful, as they had to ask for help first, which took a while. They don't provide breakfast because it looks like it's been abandoned. The restaurant is very dirty, as if it hasn't been used for months, maybe years. Honestly, this hotel was quite a bad experience, not meeting the expectations in the pictures, but if it's upgraded, it might always be an option. Luckily, I'm with my family, so it's still okay, if not, they might run away. Hopefully there will be improvements, because selling it like this with pictures that don't match is the same as cheating guests. It's a shame I didn't take photos because I was tired and lazy. If you don't believe me, just do a survey first, guys, before you might have a little regret. Sorry, owner, we're just being honest.

Please pay attention to the cleanliness of the tableware and hotel area. There are not enough trash cans, so guests litter, and there are many cigarette butts in the restaurant area. Please also mop the balcony and wipe down the chairs.

My experience was terrible. When I arrived, there was no drinking water. When I asked for it, the male staff member insisted on letting me into the room, insisting that it had been left before we checked in, even though it was already late at night and my husband was asleep. The bathroom was muddy, wet, the pipes were leaking, dirty, and yellow. The TV had no channels and couldn't be turned on. The bed sheets were yellow, and what was worse, there were mosquitoes. The lobby and upstairs rooms were dusty. The trash cans were messy, and some of the facilities were broken. Honestly, the place is nice and the building is nice, but the rooms are terrible. In my opinion, there is a lack of maintenance and management. Oh yeah, the breakfast glasses and plates were also dusty. Enough of this, I won't be coming back.

Second time staying here. I stayed here two years ago, and overall it was comfortable and homey. But yesterday, on August 29, 2026, the conditions were very different, very bad for a 4-star hotel. The cleanliness of the environment was dirty and not maintained, especially the toilet near the restaurant. I didn't get a toothbrush, no complimentary mineral water, coffee, tea, etc. There were no hotel slippers, the hot water was off, the TV was also off, and the wifi was slow.

Overall, it's pretty good for this price, it's cheap and worth it, plus the breakfast buffet has a lot of variations from 7-10, the taste is also really good, but the minus is the TV can't be turned on because they say it's under maintenance, there's no wifi either, which is really not nice even though the room is quite spacious, then the bathroom has a leaking sink underneath and the shower also doesn't have a water heater, tea, toothbrushes, coffee, towels are provided, but next to TV and wifi, it really should be there

Grand Mulya Bogor is actually a nice hotel, but it's time for renovations, as many ceilings are leaking rainwater. If you stay during the rainy season, I predict there will be inconvenience for guests. I arrived at the hotel before 12 noon, and check-in time is 2:00 PM. When I checked in at 2:00 PM, I was given a room key and only shown the way to my room, without any hotel staff accompanying me. When I got to my room, I noticed that towels and bottled water were not available. I tried calling the WhatsApp number listed on the room key, but no one responded. In the end, I had to go back to the reception to ask about the lack of towels and bottled water. If the facilities were improved, I'm sure the Grand Mulya Hotel would be a good alternative accommodation, given its proximity to Jakarta and its spacious swimming pool. Regarding the swimming pool, the showers in the shower rooms were all broken.

I was only interested in coming here because I saw a photo of the pool on the app, which looked nice. It really is a nice pool. But as for the room... and I didn't sleep that night.
