Views were great, breakfast was amazing, location was amazing. But, hairdryer was not of quality to claim it as a 4-star hotel. Also, parking was limited to accommodate ALL the rooms. Fridge was not working and TV was small.

L'hôtel est bien situé entre Cortina et Très Cime avec une magnifique vue sur les Dolomites. Malheureusement, l'hôtel est un peu defraichis. Ceux qui aime le style rustique année 70 vont apprécier. Nous avions choisi aussi l'endroit pour la piscine, malheureusement les heures sont très limitées pour les enfants (entre 10h-12h et 14h et 17h) et la piscine est très creuse. Le café dans la machine à la salle à petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas bon, par contre n'hésitez pas à demander un café espresso ou capuchino directement aux serveurs et ils vous en apporterons un bien meilleur.

I think it all has to do with expectations. I think the main problem was it just lacked basic hotel items. No water kettle, no rubbish bin in the room, you had to pay for a coffee or tea yet there was no way to get any - same with water, luckily you can just drink the tap water.
I think overall it would be a 5/5 if the hotel was rated 3 stars and was about 100 euros less a night

The hotel is well situated for the local attractions particularly Tre Cime. The rooms are large (almost too big) but quite basic. The en-suite bathroom by comparison was very small and not well maintained. Our shower head didn’t stay attached to the holder making it hard to use. The hair dryer would only work for about 30 seconds before overheating and stopping which drove my partner mad. The four course dinner was ok. Nothing special but decent for 45 euros each. The buffet starter was good and the breakfast buffet was also good. No air con or fans in the room which would have helped during our stay. I’ve marked it down as I didn’t think it was great value for money. Staff were pretty good to be fair.

This hotel may have been grand in the past, but it now feels outdated. Dinner and breakfast were included and were fine, though not outstanding. While the hotel offers access to the pool, spa access requires an additional fee of 25 Euros.

IMPORTANT:
1) limited free parking!! They charge for additional parking when their free parking is full.
2) Our room with a 'view of the lake' was largely blocked by the roof and a huge gutter pipe. We had to sit on the floor to see the lake.

Disappointed Stay – Not Worth the High Price
We stayed at this hotel for one night and paid more than $500 with the hope of enjoying a beautiful lake view. Unfortunately, the view was largely obstructed by part of the hotel’s own structure, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. The photos online were misleading and did not accurately reflect the actual condition of the room or the view.
While the front desk staff were polite and kind, they were unable to offer any solution or compensation. The room itself was quite outdated and in no way matched the premium rate we paid. Also, Breakfast was average, nothing special.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, especially given the price. We felt misled by the presentation online, and we would not recommend this hotel to others. It’s simply not worth the money.

I don’t know why this hotel isn’t rated higher. We had a wonderful stay. The views are amazing from right there in front of the hotel and it’s a short walk to the dolomiti bus if you’re headed up to Rifugio Auronzo for one of the iconic hikes. The staff did their best to help us download the app for bus tickets and buy them, but we had trouble getting it to work, so I recommend walking to the bus stop-they sell tickets right there, and then do the Cadini di Misurina hike!!!! It’s amazing and you have great views of Tre Cime so if you’re short on time, that one is the must do! It’s not even a very long hike. We only spent one night here and we were so sad we didn’t stay longer!!! We had delicious food at the restaurant-my veal was the best meal of my entire trip-so amazing! And the breakfast was amazing too! Lots of delicious options! Staff was friendly and everything was great.
