We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, honestly one of the best we’ve ever slept on! We loved it so much that we’re even considering buying the same mattress when we get home. Having a washing machine in the room was also a huge bonus, especially during our long holiday in Japan. It made it so easy to keep our clothes fresh without any hassle. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which made our stay even more relaxing. We also felt very safe throughout our time there, which is always important when traveling. Another plus was the convenient parking. There are spots available just a short 2-minute walk from the hotel.

Clean and big enough room. Close to attractions, transport and restaurants. Staff were friendly. We got the only ground floor room which was not ideal. Noise from other guests in the lobby were noticeable. Parking was very limited and we couldn't get free parking in the end but needed to park somewhere nearby, the parking fee was not expensive however.

Located is great, rooms are clean and nice size.. But rooms are loud.. if anyone is above you, you can hear them distinctly. Had to call down multiple times.. kids jumping, stomping.. it echoed loudly.. during the day was fine but by night it was annoying..

Nice boutique hotel with large rooms and a small kitchenette. Staff are super friendly. The city centre and Kumamoto Castle are just a few minutes away by foot and there is plenty of parking options next to the hotel. Rooms are equipped with a washing machine but no dryer, which is surprising, If you have quite a bit of clothes to wash, like we did (4 pax), there is a laundromat just 2 minutes away where you can dry your clothes after washing them in the room. Another surprise is that here is no cupboard to hang any clothes and no daytime curtains (only black-out curtains). There is no breakfast buffet but you can pay for coffee and a small breakfast selection at the reception area. Otherwise, there’s a 7Eleven just across the street where you can find plenty of breakfast options.

I had a great stay at Fav Kumamoto. I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time (around 1 PM) and didn’t expect the room to be ready yet, but the staff kindly checked and let me know it was available. I really appreciated their helpfulness and flexibility. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. It had all the basic necessities—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap—which made the stay very convenient. There was also a laundry machine with detergent included. While there wasn’t a traditional dryer, the bathroom had a heated fan option that worked surprisingly well for drying clothes. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay. I’d definitely consider coming back!

Very spacious rooms with small kitchen area. Comfortable beds. Lots of room and extra futon mattresses are also comfortable. Granola/yogurt breakfast was so good! Nice to have the washing machine in the room and laundromat down the street. Check in was very smooth and staff was very helpful. Great location, lots of nearby pay parking if the spots out front are full. Easy walk to castle, mall and lots of shops. Only con was that the furniture and futon mattresses were a but stained but room seemed clean overall. I would definitely stay here again.

Not as nice as picture. We had the ground level room, and not very clean. Clumbs and hair stuck in the gap between bed and wall. Breakfast is just yoghurt or egg sandwich, abit disappointed. Handy to have kitchenette and washing machine though.
