Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA

The numerous restaurants and shops in close proximity to the hotel and Osaka station. You literally do not have to walk out of the immediate area to find what you’re looking for.

Loved the location to shops, eating establishments and the train station.

I liked the eco cleaning option because I normally don’t make a mess and I don’t need someone to make my bed. The eco cleaning option allows me to be undisturbed on days when I want to sleep in. However, I want to note that the thermostat is located in the wrong area of the room. The thermostat should be located near the bed and not near the door to assure the temperature is correct and occupant is comfortable.

Big hotel but easy to find once you're used to it. Located centrally of shopping and restaurants. Rooms were clean, staff were nice and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience. Definitely recommended!

The hotel was in a prime location with plenty of shopping and eateries in the same building and right next to the central train station. It was a perfect location to stay and see all the sights.

It was the best location and staff was friendly and rooms were amazing and I had a great stay!!!!! Breakfast was also wonderful. Many amenities!

Great hotel, super convenient for the station, access is a little unusual as you take a lift from floor 2 to 9 for check in then a different set of lifts to the bedroom levels, this sits on top of the links umeda mall, so there’s a plethora of shopping and eating options right there,

Pros: Good central location, loved the room. Cons: laundry ruined our stay. There are 8 machines but a very large number of guests wishing to use the machines. Queued for 40 minutes to get to a machine. Machines badly maintained so what would have taken 2 hour wash and dry took 5 - the reason for the massive queues. Nowhere else we stayed in Japan was like this. Don’t stay here if you’re planning a laundry stop. Room cleaning wasn’t up to scratch with basic items like cups not replaced. Coffee was clearly pre brewed and not barista style with a Nespresso machine like other (cheaper) hotels we have stayed in here. Super easy to get lost and spent the first hour of our staying running around in Yobodashi Camera. This is partially our fault but don’t use google maps to try and find the hotel. Instead; follow the signs around the shopping complex. Overall it didn’t feel like good value for money, compared to far cheaper hotels I’ve stayed in around the world. It takes 10 minutes to get out of the complex to find basics like food, coffee etc.

It's perfect for travelers!

Excellent staff and service. Has laundry facilities and buffet breakfast hotel restaurant. Located in Umeda with excellent subway lines to all major attractions. Lots to do in the area as well. Easy to find as linked to Yodobashi-Camera building. Would’ve liked cotton swabs and pads as part of the amenities.

Train station, restaurants & shopping very convenient. Limousine Bus terminal close by. Room was very warm. AC wasn’t keeping room cool enough. No drawers or enough space to store things.

Very well-maintained hotel located in the heart of Umeda. Highly recommended for those planning to travel to nearby cities during their stay. It’s also a great place to stay if you plan on doing a lot of shopping. The only downside was a noticeable odor coming from the bathroom. During our stay, the hotel did notify us that they were cleaning the drains, so it may have been related to that.

Room was clean but very tight, didn't have basic items like water bottles - needed to get other items like toothbrush, razor, etc from the lobby. Location was terrific with a huge shopping mall right below th hotel and other malls in the surrounding areas, easily accessible by walking.

This hotel is the best choice.

Overall, the hotel was good, location was excellent, but the rooms were quite small and less functional space in the rooms. If you are traveling with 2 or more large suitcases, it’s gonna get tough for you to walk around in the room.
