Hotel Hacienda de Vallarta Centro

The rooms were very clean. The thing is we were on the 5th floor and no elevator. It did not say that on the description and my sister had had knee surgery so it was hard for her. We asked to change the room to the lower floor and they did move us the next day. There is no AC but there is a fan.

It was a great little Mexican hotel

Charming authentic property in the heart of romantic district everything is easily walkable. The rooms are quite basic nothing luxurious but very clean everything functioned great. There is a small deposit for the TV and AC remote when you arrive. Only minor complaints the beds are super firm and the complimentary morning coffee is no bueno lol. But plenty of coffee shops around the property. The staff was always there to help, location is great and balcony views from the room. I would book it again. Muchas gracia

I stayed there for 26 nights, so I have a pretty complete experience of this hotel. And despite the annoying things listed below, I would go back to it, because it's really worth it. First of all, the reception staff is really lovely and helpful. The location is extremely central and walking distance from everything, but that means it's surrounded by busy loud streets so earplugs are a necessity if you want to sleep. The A/C in my room was top notch and the bed very comfy. There are multiple water coolers for cool water in the corridors. The pool is convenient, in the shade after 2pm which is great if you have sunburns but want to be in cool water. The hotel is pretty safe as well and has cameras on every floor, which you can see at reception. - The things that could be improved but aren't too bad: Showers can lose pressure multiple times per usage. My room had no fridge, which was annoying but manageable. The Internet is good as long as you are in range (half my room wasn't getting any) The cleaning staff is VERY loud (talking, radios, doors...) but are super lovely. - The most annoying things: One of the neighbors has 4 dogs and they bark ALL THE TIME, especially at 7am and 6pm. And another one across the street plays loud music late at night (and has a barking dog too but it's not as bad as the other ones). It's a family hotel, so if kids aren't your thing, you might want to not stay there as some of the kids are VERY loud and can over take the pool.

the rooms were fairly small, the staff were amazong the place is older but every room was clean and the same goes for the common area. the pool was very nice. the AC was very good and the location of the hotel is great.

Lovely staff, lovely location

No parking, but i did not need it. No kitchenette. Not very much hot water for the shower. Pool looked nice and clean, but was no heated, it was very cold. I know it was an older property but it needs an elevator. I got winded every time i went up and down those stairs. And this would be impossible to stay there, if you were handicapped. My late husband had a walker forbetter balance. He could never have been able to stay there.

Rooms were clean and you could have them cleaned every 2nd or 3rd day if you wished. Very helpful staff.

The hotel was quiet, easily accessible, Staff were helpful with a sincere smile every time help was needed. Maintenance was always helpful and housekeeping seemed to be busy all the time. 5 star experience

Great time

The staff and conditions of the hotel made this an enjoyable stay. There is no elevator. The location was excellent with easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach.

The Pool was a nice place we sat in the courtyard but we didnt use the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel to experience an authentic mexico and not the commercialized inclusive hotels. This hotel was the best choice for what we wanted to experience. Totally enjoyed ourselves here. Mucho Gracias to the staff and would definitely return here.

Wonderful staff! I had a value priced room. Small, simple, but perfect for my needs. Very clean hotel. Central town location, near beaches, restaurants, shops, nightlife. I will be back for an even longer stay next year.

Good location. Close to everything in Zona Romantica.
