Up front the rooms are small, but this is a trend with urban hotels. It was fine for me as a single guest and the bed was fabulous. The staff are truly outstanding, well trained on hospitality essentials. They go the extra kilometer (and a half) to make you feel at home.

Very kind staff. The room is small but very comfortable. Great option for a young professional who is visiting while also working remotely (the hotel has a nice shared space for coworking)

I did not have breakfast but I had dinner and tea frequently. It is the same menu everywhere and it tasted as I remembered

Not the nicest of entrance to a hotel, however it is centrally located near the trams and metros. Very large bed.

I enjoyed my stay but I think it's more of a 3 star than 4 star hotel. I booked a king bed and found the room very narrow with the bed wedged up to the window and only accessible from one side - ok if youre a solo traveller but it's inconvenient as a couple. Generally the place felt clean- apart from the noodles someone had tipped down a sink in the ladies toilets. Breakfast was just ok - for expedia/hotel to say its popular with solo travellers & then for the hotel to only offer a breakfast rate for two people when booking, instead of one is not really on. I ended up paying the full price for breakfast when i checked in as there was no solo option ie. I paid double the rate if two had booked breakfast with their room. Staff were friendly and seemed happy to work there which is a good sign.

Excellent hotel — CitizenM style. Excellent comfortable room with a view. Wonderful modern signature design common areas that overlook the harbor and square. Would love to stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

An actual king size bed--almost impossible to find in Europe, no matter what is advertised. Great location, great breakfast and very nice staff. Tigran went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

For my first time outside of the country, I can’t even begin to word how beautiful of a stay the citizenM was. The room, the amenities, the service, the coziness of the lobby, everything stood out so unforgettably. First of all, 24/7 bar and kitchen. Id feel like having a fun night, go downstairs to grab a drink and some crispy chicken bites at 2am. The staff were so welcoming, kind and had great conversation, even so late in the night. I found myself wanting to grab a drink and just enjoy the lights, architecture and decorations in the lobby. It was so calming and peaceful staring off into the old harbor. Id go downstairs to journal or listen to music and I wish I did it more. KING SIZE BED, having all that space was so cozy. The room was perfect for 1-2 people. I wish I had some company with me at times. The location of the hotel is in a perfect spot. Rotterdam Blaak right across the street, making it easy and not so tiresome to navigate to the other stations to get around the city. Even then, I thought Id be one with the locals and walk everywhere, and its honestly so nice to walk everywhere and not have to drive. Everything is relatively close to the hotel, again making it a perfect location. To sum this up, 12/10 stay. Affordable, cozy, pretty luxury in my opinion. Id stay here 100 times over. I recommend.

Excellent hotel, most perfect location for the city/rivers/bridges/transport, super high tech, clean, friendly. Bedrooms super comfy.
