The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, a proper coffee machine, good temperature as it was a very hot weekend. We hired bikes from the hotel to cycle to see the windmills and parks and the train station was a 2 minute walk and 12 minute ride into Amsterdam. There are a few lovely breakfast options in Zaandam. Perfect location, could have asked for better, and fantastic value for money. Would absolutely recommend.

Right next to the zaandam train station which is perfect. So beautiful inside and out, lovely staff. Only gripes were the lighting in the bathroom and the lack of cutlery for tea/coffee in the room.

Room was super clean and staff were very helpful when needed. They provided recommendations for the area and also gave us umbrellas as it rained for part of our visit. 3 minute walk to the train station and you’re in centraal within 12-15 minutes. The centre also has some gems without having to go into Centraal too.

I enjoyed my stay so much I would use the hotel again. My only problem I had was their was no bottled water for tea and coffee and it was a brilliant train service only 20mins to central Amsterdam. Zandaam has a lot to offer refering to shops and a beautiful scenery.

Excelente Ubicacion. Personal Super Atento y explicitos con todo , en especial el Sr. Nuno ( Portugal ). Restaurant y Bar excelente comida y mucha cantidad. Habitacion Grande , Baño Grande. Lo unico es que el Aire Acondicionado como que se apagaba ( sin estar en AUTO ) cerca de las 2 AM y reencendia como a las 6 AM ( se pasaba un poco de calor ) pero como el clima exterior estaba bueno pues se sentia menos el calor. We stayed here for 4 nights, we were welcomed with a very friendly manner. Our Room wasn’t quite ready, due from us being slightly early for check in. We were able to leave our suitcases so we could go out & explore Zaandam. The hotel was in an excellent location, a few minutes walk up to the train station, there was an escalator & a lift to the top. The train station was good, great clear screens so you could see what platforms you needed, a 15 minute transfer on the sprinter train to the city central. We arrived by train from Schiphol airport which was so easy to do the transfer took around 18 minutes, a great way to travel around, very easy, reliable & very reasonable, we used it every day we were there. We didn’t have any food at the hotel as we are not breakfast people, we ate out when we were out exploring so no food was required! We did use the bar for a relaxing drink on return from our busy days out. Staff were very pleasant, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere in comfortable chairs. Our room was lovely, A very comfy queen size bed, great pillows. We slept so well. A fantastic bathroom with a walk in shower which was very powerful. A safe & coffee machine, we used this for an instant coffees which I took with me. I Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great overall. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location. I used the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, and both were really good. Prices were also quite reasonable by Amsterdam standards. I’d especially recommend the breakfast, you can get fresh and well-prepared options for around €20, which is great value compared to eating out elsewhere. It’s also just a 2-minute walk from Zaandam station, which makes getting around very easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s good value for money and very comfortable. The only downside for me was the pillows, which were quite uncomfortable. It would be great if there were a few different pillow options. Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel but on the wrong side. Dirty streets and homeless outside the hotel. Close to transport. Room was nice and spacious. Did not have breakfast so can’t comment. Ok for a short stay. Didn’t like the dark bathroom.

zaan hotel was just great for us. We had the cheapest room but it fine for us. Bathroom awesome, loved the shower. Location great. ,2 minutes walk to train. Restaurants and shops very close by. Breakfast disappointing as hot items not hot but lots of choice for cold items. Supper in restaurant really good and so great not to have to walk anywhere after a tiring day in Amsterdam. The sort of park between hotel and train station a bit off putting, people drinking and smoking but they are harmless so you get used to it. Grocery store across the parking lot with great salads etc.
