The hotel staff is is shining point. They were amazing. The hotel is very walkable to many sites and only 3 minutes from a Bilbao Metro stop ( Sam Mamés). The €10 breakfast is a great bargain. Rooms are clean with some older furniture, but it would not deter me from staying there again. You may have to remind housekeeping to keep the soap/ shampoo dispensers filled, but that was honestly my only complaint. We even had on an early morning flight on our last day, and the manager arranged for a takeaway picnic breakfast for us at 4 AM. That's service!

We spent 2 nights at Ilunion and were very satisfied with our stay. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The only noise we would hear at night were the other guests closing their doors as they did not close softly. The room was clean and the bathroom was large with lots of storage for our toiletries. The hotel is very close to the football stadium so there were many sports fan in for the game. It is also well located to all sites as well as the bus and train stations.

Do not stay here if you like sleep. Bar-Club operates until 5am thursday-Sunday. Maintenance staff are very loud and start work by 8am. Walls are very very thin.
