The Hotel Sant Agusti is an exquisitely located gem. Its staff is friendly and professional. It's in an old monastery and the building itself is extremely cool. I will always stay there when in Barcelona.

Hotel is beautiful. Although steps from the Rambla, the Rambla was under construction and the street leading to the hotel was run down. The placa in front of the hotel was a meeting site for many unhoused people. Boquiera market was very close and something you should check out! The room walls and ceilings are paper thin and NOT sound insulated at all! Front desk staff were not friendly at all. Nobody initiated a “Hola” or anything. We had to speak first to get any reaction. The hotel itself is great, with the room we had (triple) was very large and spacious. Breakfast had many choices of food and types of coffees. The breakfast ladies were great! Go up to the Placa de Catalunya and above for great shopping and a lot less of the “tourist shop” experience.

Great location and staff, but the windows in the room did a very poor job of blocking out any street noise. It was always very noisey until late into the night which made Gettin to bed tough. The ac also stopped working half way through our last night which also made sleeping tough.

We had a cockroach in our room which we killed and showed at the desk - they did not seem concerned. The pillows were terrible and smelled bad. It was also very noisy outside early in the morning. Pretty good location near the market.

Staff was great, breakfast was very good. Window lock was not working, but was repaired promply after reporting. The location was great in addition to being a historic buliding it was next to La Ramblas with short walking distance to small shops, great restaurants, transportation, and the Batllo (Gaudi designed) House. We had a great time.

Great location right in the center of downtown. Walking distance to most places. Hotel was good too - room was comfortable. Area seems safe. Supermarket right outside the hotel. Gave a 20 euro deposit to get Hot Water Kettle from lobby. Will recommend for stay.

Very clean and spacious room. We were able to get checked in at 9.30am as our room was available. Despite it being on a side street, the cafe noise was a little loud later into the night. Unable to leave windows open overnight. Very good location, close to La Rambla and shopping and dining. Walkable to the waterfront.
