this hotel is in a perfect location, walkable to both the interlaken west and interlaken ost train statioins, as well as the harder kulm. restaurants, shops, groceries & activities all close and easy to get to. no A/C in the ground floor lobby or storage area. but oh yea! A/C in the room! very clean & comfortable, unfortunately only 1 big towel and 1 small towel. at the front desk simon was SO helpful with information about activities, directions, storage for my things while waiting for my room and on the day of departure. clearly a safe area - definitely a great choice!

Water pressure completely came and went during our State as well as hot water with sometimes there and sometimes not - made showering difficult for sure. Constant sound of water draining above us most of the night. Great location, though. The water problems for the entire facility need to be worked out. We knew another couple that had either scalding or freezing water..

We had a comfortable stay at the Hey Hotel. It was walking distance from train station and bus stops. There were cafes, restaurants and shoping within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial and variety of choices. However, it would have been nice if breakfast was served earlier or at least have a takeaway option for those who needed to start their day early.

The hotel was just ok. Good location. I was there with my husband and 23 year old son. We went across the street for gelato and came back to our hotel to sit at one of the outside tables outside our bar. The bartender rudely told us if we weren’t ordering anything we couldn’t sit there. I 100% would understand that if it were busy. They have about 20 outdoor tables and EVERY single one was empty!! So they lost out on our business, because we were there four days and enjoyed ourselves at other hotel bars.

Air conditioning doesn’t go lower than 22 Celsius. Toe nail on my floor with dead bugs (have pics). Complained about room smelling like broccoli every day, reception agreed it smelled, gave me spray to make it smell better. Shower didn’t work, shower head placed in middle of shower and kept falling down. Maintenance fixed the falling but agreed position was less than optimal. Asked to switch rooms and it was denied in a roundabout way. Good location, nice evening staff but definitely grossed out.
