El Ksar Resort & Thalasso

The customer service was a complete joke. From day one, the staff were rude and didn’t know how to deal with customers at all. Most of the people at reception couldn’t even speak proper English, so communication was a mess. I asked for an iron three times and kept being told it would be brought to my room never happened. Then I was told I had to wait until housekeeping came in at 8 a.m. I waited, saw one of them, and when I tried to explain, she literally pulled the room key out of my hand, looked at the number, said she’d bring an iron and didn’t. I was fuming by that point and went straight to reception. Turns out, I was supposed to pay for the iron the whole time, but no one mentioned that. They handed me some form to fill out to pay. I asked to speak to management because the whole thing was ridiculous. The receptionist talked for half an hour but still didn’t resolve anything. In the end, I had to pay. To make it worse, the phone in the room wasn’t working, so I had to walk all the way down to reception every time. The room itself was dusty and dirty. Even though housekeeping came by, it didn’t make a difference it was never actually clean. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because I was travelling with my two kids, and they wanted to use the slide in the play area. Guess what? The slide was out of order the entire time. If you’re travelling with children and think you’ll have a fun, relaxing time here don’t bother. The staff are rude.

For long time did not leave a bad review but this time it deserve it. Especially food was not good at all.

Great staff and good vibes. We really enjoyed our stay here. The dining room staff, beach staff, and animators were really good to us. Food gets repetitive (more fruit, please!) But apart from that we loved it all. Tip: the party on the stage goes until 11:00 pm most nights. If you aren't a night owl, ask for a room facing away from the stage. We partied on our balcony.

AC not working throughout my 7day stay. Could not sleep (inc family) in hot conditions. Reported on day 1, 3 & 5. No help

Does not hold 4 star standard... Hotel need Major Renovation..rooms are not renovated since 1990s... Just lick of paint.. Basic cleanness is missing... Every night water stops... So go to washroom... Before 10...I have been staying for last 5 days and hot water has been an issue not to forget i escalated 4 times... Some staff are good but most doesnt give flying Flamingo... Limited sun bath chairs by the pool... And all of them taken by their staff to sell it later for petty cash... Food is mediocre... I still have 4 nights to go through this torture.. If i didnt have kids would have left... On day 1.oh yah don't go for bungalow as its further from everything... To pool its 5 mins walk.. If you come after sun set.. Lights are not even on... STAY AWAY... I dont have energy to take more pics or write more of problems at this place....... Stay away and save money

Should be a 2 stars resort at best, not appropriate for family.

The first night I had some issues with my room and Ali, at the front desk, went above and beyond to resolve these issues!! I was given a new, premium room with a fantastic view and decor! 😍 From that point on my stay was amazing!! The service I received I received was outstanding in all areas, the El Baal restaurant was a highlight!! The housekeeping staff were excellent as well! The staff here, in all areas of the hotel were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly!! I can’t say enough good things about them!! Thankyou for the beautiful memories that I made here!! I would definitely recommend and return!!😘

Room is dirty i don't take any bath only shower because the bathroom doesn't have plag for the bath when you ask most of staff is arguing. You ask for cup of coffee in a cup they give it in take away cup..

We recently stayed at El Kzar in Sousse. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. We especially liked the local dishes. The hotel is right on the beach with wonderful soft sand. We didn't have our kids with us but we saw there were activities for kids. It was my birthday and the staff decorated our table with flowers. It was a relaxing vacation and we will return.

Took us a day to get acclimatised but we loved our stay staff were really friendly food was nice manager was very hands on, on the ball Animations team was amazing If only I could speak Arabic or French would have been Amazing thankyou El Ksar hope to visit again soon

food was ok,but carpets were dirty,pool was empty,no wifi anywere,toilet in room was smelling of sewege,furniture was old and sqeecky.defenately not a four star hotel.3 star more like

Spacious rooms and nice secluded very clean hotel in extensive grounds. Reception and waiting staff friendly though security staff somewhat grumpy, especially as I was travelling with a Tunisian friend. Hotel clientele is almost exclusively elderly and German.

Hotellet er helt okei. «All inclusive» - maten var okei. Hotellet sine ansatte var bra, noen veldig bra, andre mindre bra. Stranda var perfekt. Basseng området var flott. Slitt hotell, trenger å bli renovert.
