Atakosk Hotel

I booked Ataköşk Hotel through Expedia based on the beautiful photos and presentation shown online. Unfortunately, what we experienced was completely different from what was advertised. The sauna and Turkish bath were highlighted in the photos, but both were closed and unavailable. People make reservations based on these facilities, so this should be clearly mentioned instead of misleading guests. A hotel that calls itself a “5-star hotel” should understand the meaning of hospitality and customer service. During breakfast, I politely asked for tea, and the response I received was: “You get the tea yourself.” Maybe it sounds like a small thing, but this is not the kind of response or attitude guests should receive in a real 5-star hotel. The breakfast quality was also very disappointing. The su böreği was dry, the sausages were dry and cold, and overall everything looked neglected and low quality. Sadly, this hotel does not live up to the respected name of “Ata.” I left very disappointed. I am not writing this to offend anyone, but so other people do not experience the same disappointment. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this hotel.

Overall, it’s a good hotel, clean and comfortable, but it falls a bit short of true 5-star standards. There are no American style electrical outlets, and the materials, such as toilet paper and towels, are very low quality.

Resepsiyonda Sayın Cem çok iyiydi, diğer arkadaşlar da gayet iyiydi. Sadece akşam birkaç kez meyve ve çay sipariş ettim, bize getiren arkadaşın otelcilik konusunda çok fazla tecrübesi yoktu. Misafirlerle daha saygılı bir şekilde iletişim kurmaya biraz daha özen göstermeleri gerekiyor.

It’s a good hotel in a bad neighborhood

Room was so hot and aircon didnt work - got moved to a different room which stank of stale cigarettes

It is a good property. The staff is attentive

My husband and I stayed for 1 night. The room was spacious & clean, breakfast was great and the staff & service were excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Helpful and kind staff. Good size room but not so comfy beds. Especially the sofa bed is not a bed at all. You cannot sleep on it without waking up every half an hour

Good property. Very kind and helpful staff. The third bed was a sofa bed and not comfy ar all and hotel offered no solution. It is okay for 2 but if you are 3 then the 3rd bed is basically useless.

To sum up my experience, "The hotel was nice, but it didn't meet the five-star requirements. It seemed a bit old, and the rooms had a strong, stinky perfume smell. I asked the front desk for help on carrying my luggage to my room but he ignored and said we don’t have anyone to help. The decor didn't match the pictures and advertisements. However, the breakfast buffet was good and tasty. Overall, I'd rate it as a three-star hotel."

Simple 3 star hotel, with spacious rooms. Breakfast is there, but its not with paying extra if asked.

it was a great choice to spend one night in this hotel during my road trip in Turkey, Spacious rooms, so clean and feels like home. Really comfortable bed The staff are very friendly and speaks English. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast buffet, they don't have juice and omelet. Other than that the breakfast is just fine.
