Excellent hotel, amazing views from the roof from both the M-bar and the continental breakfast dining room. Have a drink in the M-bar and watch all the scooters below and the traffic on the Sai Gon river. Staff were very friendly snd helpful and the pool is an oasis from the sweltering heat of the city. They give good rates on cash conversion at all hours also....

Hotel is convenient located in the old French quarter, very old and so does the facility in the room, they are a little outdated especially the bathroom. The rooms are facing the street or river are very noisy from the heavy traffic street. Breakfast is great, great options. Staffs are super friendly and helpful, great service. It’s walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops. Easy to get around.

The room is spacious but outdated. The room facing the street are very noisy from the heavy traffic outside. And some room has window but facing the interior. The bathroom amenities are a little let down. It’s walkable to a big plaza and a lot of food and shopping close by. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Hotel lobby was stunning. We had a room on the 4th floor which was a really spacious room, sort of designer old fashion, but the downside was the noise of chairs dragging across the 5th floor restaurant and bar above. Ok, it was quiet between about midnight and 6am but was still a disturbance. That said when this was raised they offered a different room, so no real complaints. Staff overall were pleasant. Great location

Hotel is very well maintained. I chose this hotel for an older and more authentic feel. Given that expectation, it did live up to it. Staff was professional and friendly. Housekeeping staff was excellent. Expect the furniture and decor to be dated, but clean. The hotel borders the river, so exploring on foot is limited to one direction, but within walking distance of main attractions. It does sit on one of the busiest streets in D1, and locals love to say good morning, good afternoon, and good evening with their bike horns.

Location area is not that pleasant. A big construction opposite. Hotels like Rex and Continental are in better areas. Hotel should at least offer linen napkins for breakfast and have a better range of food offerings to warrant 5 stars. Pool is small. Bathroom large but poorly designed. Baths need climbing into and are somewhat dangerous to elderly. Dont expect any view outside.

This is a First Class Hotel. Its Colonial charm was brimming with over 100 years of history. It’s charming and classy. No detail was spared from the welcome package and fruit plate to charming decor. The pool is relaxing with many refreshment options. Location all and auto walk to all the major attractions the city has to offer. The only downside was construction on the river across the street so I wouldn’t recommend the street facing rooms instead take a pool view and you won’t be disappointed

The Majestic bears its name well…Majestic!! It is impressive from the moment you walk in. Old world class and charm. Check-in was easy, great and helpful service. I had a great room with a jacuzzi overlooking the river. It was awesome. Only downside is that you could see some wear and tear on the floors and wall. Pool on the 1st floor is an oasis of tranquility. L shape makes it great for laps. Excellent service. The rooftop breakfast is out of this world. Huge variety , fresh and delicious. They’ll even make you an iced Vietnamese coffee. Or a Banh mi sandwich. Consistently, their service is absolutely top notch. If you like fine historical hotels that are less about bling and more about substance and service, this is the place for you Happy 100th anniversary Majestic… I will surely return
