Fantastic stay from start to finish. The hotel was excellent, with great facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to James on reception for his friendly and professional service. The biggest shout-out has to go to Nina in the Club Lounge. She was absolutely exceptional throughout my stay—warm, attentive, incredibly hardworking, and always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Her service was genuinely outstanding and made the experience so much more enjoyable. A real credit to the hotel. Looking forward to returning.

I came to Nottingham for work & have stayed at the Crowne plaza for the past 6 weeks. The staff are lovely, Matthew especially was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely & again the team were really kind. The rooms are a great size & the gym & pool were a great added bonus for this hotel. I even took advantage of the spa facilities and had a back, neck and shoulder massage - would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham during the hottest day of the year and had an amazing experience. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and we loved the cold water waiting for us in the fridge. Because it was the hottest night of the year, we didn't sleep much. A special thanks to Maria, who was incredibly understanding and sorted out a late check-out for us so we could rest. When we noticed our hair dryer was broken, housekeeping also replaced it promptly. The location is excellent too—just a 7-minute walk to the shopping mall. We will definitely stay here again!

Central location for visiting Plymouth. Parking a premium charge daily Rooms are good size, not all rooms have walk in showers and signs of wear and tear in some rooms. Looks dated from outside. Restaurant is very good and breakfast offers a good variety catering for all allergies. Swimming pool shallow so difficult for adult swimming as not deep enough.

The hotel is a bit old and outdated. The beds are very uncomfortable, as are the pillows. The views from the 8th floor are fantastic. The club lounge food was very mediocre most of the time, except on Good Friday—we hope this standard will be maintained over the weekend. The noise level is high. The door mechanisms don’t have soft-closing features, so you can hear doors banging day and night. In addition, all doors make a squeaking noise, which wakes you up whenever someone opens their room—even without slamming them. This was noticeable even when wearing earplugs, as recommended by management. The computers, including the one in the lounge, are out of service and seem to remain there just as part of the furniture. The staff is amazing, especially Nina from the lounge, who took great care of us, provided helpful information about the city, and was extremely cheerful and service-oriented. I have to add, the wonderful lady who was cleaning my room. I believe her name was Norai, so wonderful, cheerful and attentive to my needs. All the staff here really have made difference and despite the negatives, we still did have a wonderful stay
