Crowne Plaza NOTTINGHAM by IHG

Room were very clean and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Nothing was too much for the staff. Everyone was so helpful and polite. Large choice at breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. The spa facilities were a lovely bonus. We've stayed at a number of Crowne Plaza hotels but I have to say Nottingham is our favorite. The staff are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The air conditioning wouldn’t work in the room and was reported twice and not repaired. A fan was supplied but that just blew the hot air around the room and was very noisy. I understand that problems occur, but this clearly wasn’t working before we were assigned the room. Finally no discount or future credit for the discomfort was offered. The staff were polite but didn’t seem inclined to solve the issue.

Really enjoyed the overnight stay. The hotel is well situated in Nottingham. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Dinner was very nice and the hotel has a nice relaxed feel to it. Only issue in my room was some of the surfaces were a bit dusty. Apart from that I would stay again.

No sleep! Room 705 bang opposite Rock City nightclub. Didn’t stop until 3:35. Then some random women knocking on my door at 3:45.

Lovely stay. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Really convenient for The Royal Concert Hall for someone with limited mobility. Whole hotel is a little tired, but was clean and facilities were excellent. The bathroom in the room was well proportioned but the toilet was situated under a grab rail which made it virtually inaccessible for a larger person, sitting sideways was the only option. The restaurant was lovely, but was under staffed, there only appeared to be one (lovely, helpful) waiter trying to deal with the whole restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, though if you came down towards the end there was less choice. Have been to other hotels in this chain that were slightly more up to date, this one could perhaps do with a bit of a boost.

It was lovely, the staff were excellent and the room was perfect.

Good location. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and spacious. Lots of seating areas. Car park was convenient but be warned the spaces are very small and really struggle to fit most cars and have space to open doors. Also the height is low and if you have a car that is low it will hit the bottom on the slopes. £18 per day or cheaper if paid in advance with room (on hotel.com).

This hotel is in a great location in the centre, clean well appointed rooms. A good breakfast and great dining area. The only down side is noise in the rooms, woken several times with late night noise from folk in the corridor.

Our was stay was very good room was clean and adequate. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The noise until 0;2.30am was a bit annoying maybe Rock City? We overlooked it.

Lovely modern hotel in a great location. Good breakfast buffet and on the whole very friendly staff.

Clean room with extremely comfortable king bed. Well stocked bathroom, towels etc. Friendly staff, particularly Tushie who helped us when our room card had not been activated for the club lounge.

Great clean and tidy room, well appointed. Breakfast was delicious high quality food. Bar area is very nicely designed and ambient, as is the lobby. Only issue was one of the lifts which did not access the ground floor. This made it difficult to get our luggage to the ground upon checkout.

Breakfast was ok but poor quality ingredients. We had a terrible dining experience. Starter ok - We waited one hour for our mains. My salmon served on a bed of rice was so dried out it was inedible. Looked like it had been left under the heat lamp for ages. Crispy and very dry. You could lift the whole dish up in one go - horrible. My partners cod loin wasnt any better and his veg was actually black and burnt. Amazed they actually served it to us. Four of the desert items were off the menu and we were under a time constraint anyway. Considering we paid for this in advance and no way of getting any refund it was highly disappointing.

The room was nice and clean, shower and bath all good. Bar area and restaurant all good. All in all a nice place to stay.
