Great accessible room with amazing air conditioning

Rooms were comfortable, didn’t like the Hugh step into the shower & Bath. Quite dangerous in the dark. Bar, parking and staff were all good. Breakfast choice and quality for £15.99 per person was quite limited.

Don't accept cash, would be unlikely to return.

Poor cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Changed room and the second room was just as bad so left and booked elsewhere.

Perfect. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Good breakfast too.

Everything was perfect, only observation was that the carpets were looking tired.

Stayed here for one night. Rooms and bathrooms very dated and tired. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. I went down for breakfast about 8am and everything was cold and had run out. No juice machine, just empty jugs. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Carpet threadbare in room

First time at this hotel, will book again when in the area. Staff friendly, room and bathroom very good

The room was spacious with a large shower. The carpet was threadbare and the bed was extremely hard. I discovered that the restaurant prices were excessive, £23 for fish and chips, £37 for an 8oz RUMP steak! A five minute drive took me to the Badger Box, extensive menu, great prices, £13 8oz Sirloin Steak, happy days.

Cold and noisy

Very basic. Hotel room wasn’t what I thought it would be. There were hardly any plug sockets and everything was hard work for example the kettle situation was very faffy. Also the bathroom fan was so loud. Bed was comfortable but it just didn’t live up to expectations. The foyer was very meh! I arrived on a Sunday and there was no food available so I had to Deliveroo. Not what it appears to be online.

The accommodation is getting a bit tired

The rooms are spacious, but a bit dated. The mattress was hard for me. The bathroom needed tiles fixing, the shower was powerful and pleasant. We booked dinner at 7.30 pm waited for our simple grilled chicken almost an hour, no one informed us until we asked what is going on. The breakfast was shambolic -£24 per person and barely any food available, no pastries, we waited for fried eggs as they run out. The employees available as breakfast hosts were not welcoming and engaging at all, so disappointing. Overall not good value for the money.

Hotel initially looked nice but is in fact tired and in need of investment. The bed was so hard that I had to sleep in a chair all night, it was like a solid box. Breakfast was quite honestly dreadful and I am shocked at the standard of food and choice. Dreadful hotel
