Lovely stay clean and great staff loved stsying here and will be back again and again.. perfect

Room was a little tired although it did have air conditioning The main reason for filling in the survey was the food. The first night it took 50 minutes for the starter to arrive which was only pate. The second night the starter and main course arrived together. The actual food was quite nice

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel. The English breakfast was very tasty — especially considering that I am a chef working in a five-star hotel in London. The sausages and bacon were exceptionally good. I was slightly disappointed that still water was not available and only sparkling water was offered. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and good sized room. Good location.friendly staff. Swimming and sauna was good for children. It would be good if swimming pool's water is cleaner.

Very busy time of year Christmas party’s the hotel was a dated but comfortable we had our dog with us so choose this hotel as it was near beach .The lady on reception was very nice and booked us in promptly.The breakfast staff was a little unsure where to put us with a dog we eventually got sorted.Our room was nice had everything we needed

Poor basic room. Couldn’t use the bar because there were parties going on until 1 am. They warned you about the late Christmas parties, but only after you’ve paid, so there is nothing you can do about it. Used to go there in the old days not the same place, wouldn’t bother again.

Had a lovely stay here for our anniversary. Check in was smooth and friendly. Staff were always lovely. Upon arriving in our room the look and quality were great for the price we paid. They had even left us a personalised card. Can't recommend enough.

The room was very clean, which is the most important thing. Bring some water with you: there is no bottled water left in the room and the tap water is undrinkable. Freshly cooked breakfast is satisfactory but coffee was not good: weak and cold.

Could give more pillows and maybe some coffee grounds for the room.

Size and cleanliness of the room great

For the price of the room I can't complain, and was very close to the venue and the staff were all pleasant and friendly. However, the hotel is quite run down, the TV had no signal, the cup in the room was dirty, the key card didn't work all that well. Breakfast buffet was ok but not worth £11.

Very comfortable one night stay and very good value for money

Great hotel, only 6 mints walk to the seafront. Rooms were a nice size. The building itself is a little tired and the spa facilities weren't great but the pool was nice. Staff were really friendly and made for a lovely stay.

Dated hotel. Room was spacious but not particularly clean. Hotel needs modernising. We also experienced people going through the bins after returning from an evening out. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend.

It's a rare joy to find a hotel with in room controlled aircon. I'd rebook just for that! The hotel is a grand old place and parking is a nightmare. But it's well situated with a sea walk just yards from your door and a surprisingly quiet location close to town.
