The hotel is unfortunately not worth the price. The only real advantage is its location.
The property is quite old and in need of refurbishment. In my opinion, it is more comparable to a 3-star hotel than the standard its pricing suggests. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower was outdated and not particularly clean, and the sink had been repaired with tape, which gave a poor impression of the room maintenance.
The biggest concern, however, was security. The in-room safe could only be accessed by tapping a credit card using an outdated magnetic stripe system. This feels insecure, as magnetic card data can potentially be copied or compromised. In addition, during check-in, the hotel did not simply pre-authorise my credit card but instead stored the card details in their system, which I also found concerning from a security perspective.
Finally, for a 2-night stay only 2 coffee capsules were provided, which felt rather stingy considering the room rate.
Overall, apart from the excellent location, the hotel offers poor value for money and falls well below the standard I expected. I would not choose to stay here again.
