Asamadake Kongoshoji Temple This temple has been protecting the demon gate of Ise Jingu since ancient times, and is also known as the inner sanctuary of Ise Jingu. People who came to Ise Jingu used to pay visit to the temple first, as sung in the Ise Ondo folk song, "If you go to Ise, you must visit Asama If you do not visit Asama, your pilgrimage ends halfway."
