Kinchakuda

The red spider lily, known as Higanbana, holds a significant place in Japanese culture. Its name, "Higanbana," translates to "flower on the other shore," symbolizing the blooming period that aligns with Japan's autumn equinox season (Higan). This flower has also been referenced in Buddhist teachings, amplifying its cultural importance. Typically blossoming from mid-September to early October, Higanbana adorns the landscape in a stunning display. Notably, "Kinchakuda" in Saitama Prefecture boasts Japan's largest expanse of these red spider lilies, with an astonishing 5 million flowers painting the terrain like a vivid crimson carpet. Enveloped by the Koma River, the area offers a unique geographical setting that enhances the breathtaking Higanbana scenery.

Little Edo Kawagoe

Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture exudes the Edo period's charm, allowing visitors to journey through the Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras. The iconic "Toki no Kane" (Time Bell Tower) resonates with history, while the bustling "Ichiban-gai" (Main Street) showcases various architectural styles. Donning a yukata, you can step back in time and explore these streets. "Kashiya Yokocho" (Candy Alley) adds to the allure, offering a nostalgic walk among colorful glass storefronts of candy shops. In Kawagoe, tranquility and a unique historical experience await amid the everyday rush.

TEAM LAB "Resonating Life in the Acorn Forest"

In Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, "Resonating Life in the Acorn Forest" by the acclaimed TEAM LAB offers a fresh masterpiece. Within a deciduous tree forest, digital technology merges with nature, crafting an awe-inspiring audiovisual journey under the theme of nature harmony. Interactions trigger unique responses, communicating with nearby acorn trees for a magical and enchanting experience.

Rice Paddy Art

"Saitama's Ancient Lotus Park (Kodai Hasu No Sato)" holds the title of the world's largest farmland art. The observatory offers a breathtaking view of this expansive farmland canvas. The 2023 theme draws inspiration from the renowned Japanese movie "Fly Me to the Saitama," featuring massive head portraits of movie characters artfully showcased across the fields.
