Aura on Flinders Serviced Apartments

Great hotel. Close to transport. Can't beat the view from the balcony! Staff were great, will stay again.

The apartment was very clean. The venue was close to transport, the aquarium and DFO. Check in and check out was very smooth.

Thankfully, we were only there for two nights. The apartment we got was a supposed upgrade. I'm not sure what was upgraded as it was drab, dingy, and sparsely furnished. Maybe the balcony that faced a rooftop bar is considered an upgrade? First, the safety bolt on the door was broken. Not safe! Second, the walls and doors were dirty and smudged, which was just gross. The dryer was broken, so we used a wire rack and cranked up the heater to dry our clothes. Third, there was one towel hook in the bathroom that was coming out of the wall leaving nowhere in the bathroom to hang our towels. We had to hang them on the dining chairs (they were plastic so no harm was done). Foueth, the large cabinet in the bathroom had one shelf, although it clearly held more at some point. This left no where to put our toiletries in the bathroom, and I ended up using the dining table just outside the bedroom. Oh, also the dishwasher had a sign that read "Out of Order," which should have been placed on the door of the apartment. The ONLY two reasons I'm giving it 2 stars is the convenient location and comfortable bed.

The room wasn’t very clean. Windows were dirty. Rubbish on top of the fridge. Shower didn’t drain. Shower door didn’t shut. Loud ringing/buzzing sound coming from bathroom roof. Got back to our room at 11pm and key fob wouldn’t let us in took staff 3 times to and from reception to get us back in.

It was easy to find, check in was quick and easy. Unfortunately the apartment was quite generally dirty which was disappointing. The bathroom had mould around the shower and taps, and the toilet brush being completely covered with black mould. The shower also had blue and orange slimy build up. The floors didn’t seem to have been vacuumed and the walls had lots of grimy scuff marks around. Everything was functional and it did what we needed it to, but the cleanliness really bought down the overall rating for us.

Entrance is down side street on Flinders street.Excellent location to tram stop.Five minute walk to Southern Cross.Washing machine but no dryer.Very nice apartment and will stay there again

Location is great Room 1502 Instructions re dishes is to place in DW -Dishwasher out of order Bed base torn and dirty Bedroom blinds were stapled together mid way Advertised with smart tv - had trouble logging in to streaming platforms- asked reception for advice was told no smart tvs in room - it was and finally fixed the problem myself. Self in walk in shower is metal sharp edges and quite low on wall - could be dangerous Overall cleanliness not great Don’t think they have much of a spruce up between visitors Obviously not an apartment hotel and is just some rooms are for accommodation which obviously are just managed by the receptionist down stairs Bathroom supplies just sitting around in reception area so not great presentation. No welcome at arrival just asked straight out for licence and card for payment

I was very happy with the service friendly staff. I was upgraded to a beautiful apartment.

Great price and location in the CBD. Public transport only a couple minutes walk away.

Check-in and check out was fast and efficient, room was clean and tidy for the price. Great location.

Location location location & received an upgrade to Balcony Room & 11.30 am checkout. Dishwasher out of order, water sitting in it. Shower not draining properly, shower filled with water. No extra toilet paper, only a bit on the roll. View from the room was great.
