We had a wonderful stay at Dorsett Melbourne. The location was excellent, with everything within easy walking distance, making it perfect for a little family staycation. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The pool area was a highlight for our kids, who absolutely loved it. Overall, a great place to stay and we would happily return.

It’s value for money. Kids friendly, has warm pool, hot jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Enough shower rooms. (This facility area is not cleaned often due to high traffic, I feel the floor is a little too wet to walk around. I reckon the cleaning is overall too casually done.) The room was big, 2 double beds enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. (A little downside is there is a sewage smell when I entered the room, wasn’t pleasant but I just tried to ignore) I appreciate the early check in at 2pm, staffs were friendly and helpful. Location was great, walking distance to eateries and tram stops. We will go back for another staycation if there is good deal again!

Clean, quiet yet central location. Located in the slightly quieter side of CBD, but super central. Easy to walk to places in CBD, easy access to public transport and easy to get to and from the airport. The indoor pool was a nice addition esp at certain times when children are restricted, making it a nice & relaxing experience. Luggage storage was also super handy especially when you need a place to store your luggage when exploring the CBD before and after checking out. Everything I needed in a hotel. Well maintained too. Would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!

The quilt was stained and lots of yellow stains all over it. Sadly didn’t see it till 11pm on my last night. The curtain in shower had mould on it. Wasn’t too worried about it at the bottom of the curtain but in the middle of it at chest/abdomen thigh, there were a few stains. Staff aren’t overly observant. The checkin is split in 2, so you don’t where to stand when they have 1 person on each side. Then, another person comes, sees me waiting and then moves over to the other counter to do some work and someone else walks in and she immediately serves them. Same thing happened a couple of times. Some amenities were out that was not highlighted at time of booking. Not sure if I’ll go back in a couple of months. Others are better for the price or similar I also had to ask for the check in gift the following day as no one provided it or talked about it
