The staff was not helpful as far as transfer to another room. I understand the hotel was fully booked but they insisted that we empty the room early before 12 the following day. We have stayed in many hotels, and had never experienced what the receptionist (all of them) insisted. The check in time is 3 pm and all we were asking was for us to move at 12pm since we have pre booked a tour of the city from 9-12 noon.

It’s definitely a family‑friendly hotel with plenty of lobby seating to watch TV, play games, and relax. The location is convenient as well. However, the staff didn’t feel very welcoming, and the bathroom amenities were lacking — no body lotion or hair conditioner.On our second day, we came to our room and ended up dealing with a full mosquito attack overnight (luckily it was just regular mosquitos). We’re now heading to Amsterdam with insect bites all over our faces. Thankfully, there was a nearby drugstore where we could buy soothing ointment.

Very nice hotel in a great location in Brugge. Slight negative is that the air con wasn't great but the staff was very helpful and sorted it for us. Also a few mosquitos in the room, dont know where they came from but after I killed them all good. Hotel amenities excellent with fridge in room. Cold water fountains in corridor. Overall a very nice Novotel hotel.

Our stay at Novotel was excellent! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel was very clean, including the rooms and bathrooms and the food was delicious. My kids loved the pool! The location is fantastic—it’s only about a 4-minute walk to a laundromat and just a few minutes walk from the central market area, where you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions. The smell of chocolate and waffles never stops! Whether you’re traveling solo, with family and children, or with friends, this is a perfect hotel to stay at. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again!

So happy I chose the hotel with the calm relaxing pool area as the weather was beautiful our whole stay (mid June). Hotel is in the perfect location for all your needs and wants to see. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Hotel was very clean and well looked after. Would definitely recommend and return on a future visit
