Friendly staff

Great hotel!

The only complaints I have is the air extractor fan was very loud in our room also water pressure could be better.

Hotel staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Suite size was perfect. Location superb.

Place was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but limited choices. No issues with air conditioning. Parking is paid but it is reasonable.

We stayed here with our two kids aged 9 and 12. The location was perfect for exploring the Halifax waterfront. The Citadel was right next to the hotel and we spent a few enjoyable hours there as well! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The onsite parking was convenient, easy to access and a reasonable price at $27 CAD plus tax a day. Hot tub, sauna and rooftop terrace were very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was better than average with a good variety and coffee was delicious! Our daughter particularly enjoyed the chocolate muffins. We stayed in a room with a full kitchen which was convenient but the kitchen was pretty bare bones. One of the stove burners was broken and there were limited pots, pans and other utensils for cooking. We made it work, but it could have been better. Despite that we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Cambridge Suites Halifax was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the level of customer service exceeded all of our expectations. The front desk team was outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always quick to answer any questions or accommodate our requests. When our plans changed at the last minute and we wanted to visit Peggy’s Cove, they immediately organized everything for us, including shuttle transportation, making the entire process effortless. The location couldn’t have been better. We were within walking distance of the waterfront, fantastic restaurants, cafés, and everything we wanted to see and do in Halifax. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including coffee, complimentary bottled water that was replenished daily, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We were travelling as a large family, and housekeeping was always happy to provide extra towels without hesitation. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great variety and plenty of food for everyone. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby. After walking back up the hill from the waterfront with our large group, it was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. It’s rare to find a hotel where every interaction leaves such a positive impression, but Cambridge Suites Halifax truly delivered.

Staff were friendly and room was clean. Amenities were nice. Room was a bit dated but overrall it was a good stay for the price and it’s close to all the major tourist sites.

Very convient locale and secure parking.

Average, better options in Halifax

There was alot of staff in the dining room for breakfast clearing and cleaning and replenishing. Very efficient! We did have to wait about a half hour later than advertised check-in. However the hotel was fully booked night before. Front desk staff were apologetic and checked in on status of room availability. I wonder if there used to be a pool years ago? The rooftop patio was very nice!

Check out at 12pm is perfect. Sharvi, Joyce and Jay at front desk were really helpfull. Very good breakfast close to water front and other attractions.

We had a great stay the only thing is that it was quite noisy in the hallways and the fridge kept making lots of noises.
