PRAIRIE CREST RED DEER by IHG

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom could use a deep clean and the door repaired but nothing I couldn’t live with for a night. The breakfast was good but funky bacon (I’m used to homemade ). Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I have no idea why people would review the breakfast as great? It wasn’t even good. It was absolutely terrible unless you like cold microwaved egg patties and turkey bacon. The selection of food was dismal. Not impressed at all and we ended up eating breakfast off the property. I travel a lot and I read the reviews prior to booking and always chose a hotel with a decent breakfast to save money but this breakfast wasn’t worth eating. The hot tub was closed but no notification was given prior to booking even though it’s been closed for months. The water pressure was absolutely terrible and on our last night we had nothing but a trickle of water that came out with dirt in the water. Unable to shower. We were refunded a night so there’s that I guess. Definitely would not stay again and do not recommend.

Overall we are having a great stay. We are on our 3rd night. Staff is wonderful. Food is basic. Building is old. As a contractor myself I can probably see more flaws than the average eye, but I do see quite a few repairs that were poorly done. Other reviews suggest the hot tub has been out of commission for a long time. Its still kinda gross and looks like it needs to be pulled out anyways. But it was advertised and I was hoping for it. Oh well. Im going to have to go to a less expensive place as its a bit pricey for my extended stay needs. The place doesnt seem to have many staying here. Perhaps thats why? I know many people needing extended stays in these trying times. No complaints though. The beds are awesome and the people are nice.

The upgrades are nice, the bathrooms still need a lot of work. Overall would stay again. Staff were friendly

First time staying here Stubbed toe on the edge of the flooring coming out of the bathroom and cut my toe … Water out of the bathtub was initially brown with sediment Cleared quickly No water left in room Would have thought there would have been a small fridge as well but wasn’t The bed was comfortable and the gym was good for a workout Doubt I’ll stay here again

We had a great stay at this hotel. I was traveling with my spouse for business. Check in was a breeze with very friendly staff to welcome us. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was good and the servers were very friendly. They’re conveniently located right off Highway 2 with restaurants nearby and there was spacious parking in the rear for our truck and trailer. Will definitely stay here again.

Good choices for breakfast. Water slide was nice for the kids. Hot tub still under repair. No ice bucket. Excellent location. Good for family R & R.

It was okay but the hot tub in pool area broke and the pool looked cloudy. The breakfast was okay better than other places. The room was clean and smelled fresh.

We booked Prairie Crest for a family suite for the May long weekend. Immediately the room had issues and was visibly run down. The phone was missing many buttons, the bath tub was very badly worn, etc. when we needed to contact the front desk we had to physically take the elevator down, and even then the help offered was not helpful. Hot tub was out and boarded up in a very unsightly way. The pool itself was not overly clean. Breakfast offered was fine. However for the amount of money for one night this hotel is not at all worth the money. Avoid and go somewhere cleaner and more updated.
