First time in Toronto for a solo trip, booking was easy and no hassle when I had to adjust my dates. The FIFA World Cup was this year. Easy access from the BB airport and tram. Hotel was doing some renovations so concierge gave me a room on the top floor. Room was clean and a nice view of the pool and lake. They even held my luggage till it was time for my flight. Will stay there again!

While the rooms are clean and the staff is amazing, the location is terribly noisy at all times of the day. If you do not want to sleep well, then stay here. Noise from the restaurants, bars, street and the like made our sleep less than peaceful.

The hotel itself was nice, the outdoor pool was fine, but the restaurant was very low on gluten free Options (the only thing was bacon and eggs). The main downfall was that there is a restaurant in the same building that had 3 false alarm fire alarms in one day - that was a lot of stairs since we were staying on the 8th floor! It seemed like it was a fairly regular occurrence by the response of the staff. It was in a great location, but we won’t stay there again.

Bedrooms and pool area were very nice and the hotel was clean. Downside was the ongoing construction work. There was constant load drilling between 9am and 5pm during the week days. This was only notified to us on checkin with no alternatives provided or any compensation. Very poor.

Almost perfect but a huge negative. Nice large clean room and bathroom, great location, great pool area, good breakfast, but…………… The walls between rooms are paper thin. I don’t even know if I can exaggerate how bad it was. I sure I could have had a conversation with my neighbours without raising my voice, and with them in town to party it did not work out well for us, but that is beside the point. Even without partying it is still unnerving to be able to hear every word being said and knowing that they are hearing you the same. We had friends visit for a few minutes before leaving for supper and they had never experienced a hotel room that bad before. It’s like you have no privacy. I have had many hotel rooms that definitely were not sound proof, but nothing like this. Staff apologized and gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers, which I appreciate, they were so nice the whole time, but sadly it’s something that cannot be resolved. We will never book there again just for this one reason.

We travelled to Toronto for the Bluejays baseball. Picked the room from a website. In a nutshell the hotel was a winner. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Our room was on the 5th floor, just steps away from the restaurant for breakfast and the poolside. There is a park on both sides of hotel with lakeside walking paths. There were activities in the park throughout the day. The hotel is located on the marina which also has the marine police located there. Very picturesque with the park trees and the water. There are very good restaurants right handy there also. Tim Hortons is in same block as the hotel. Across the street from the hotel are more places to eat, pharmacy and numerous shops and businesses. Roger’s Place is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The CN Tower also a 5 minute walk is right there also near Roger’s place. The Hop-on-Hop Off bus route is outside front door. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
