Scandic Copenhagen

Scandic Copenhagen is in a great location, close to so many restaurants, shops and transportation. The room was clean and good size and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Generally is not so clean hotel, top floor elevator was smelling badly like garbage smell. Our room was top floor view was fabulous, but in the room desk was dusty when we got the room. It was very small room and very small bathroom, hand sink very small, shower door was not closing tightly when we took shower water was coming out of the shower. Hand shower holder was rusty, seems long time it was not cleaned. There wasn’t any mini bar or mini refrigerator. There wasn’t any bathrobe’s and sleepers. There was any complimentary bottle water. We were told us drink tab water. Also in the lobby and breakfast area there was water container which it was written filled your own bottle. When we asked this water way it is, they said it tab water just cold. TV was simple, not smart tv, there wasn’t any YouTube and normal news channels. Only BBC local news Channel. We couldn’t mirror our iPhone to TV, because of not smart TV. No coffee maker machine.

Overpriced for the quality of room. The room had an undertone of a smell of horse stables.

Situated close to the central train and metro stations. Great views. We found the staff accommodated us. Nice to have a water bottle filling station in the reception area.

Towels are old and dirty. Room condition poor unlike a decent hotel. Drinking water quality poor even after boiling.

Staff was very accommodating everytime I asked a question. Hotel was very clean and had an amazing view of the city.

There was no fridge in the room. They provide cold drinking water from a water tank near the front desk but it was very sporadic as to its availability. On some days, it was only available after 10am, which meant it was not available if you went out for walks or tours. Very stupid. There was an ice vending machine but no ice buckets. Scandic should do a LOT BETTER. It is poor service.

Excellent breakfast!

The hotel room was minimalist, and very clean and functional. The hotel staff were very helpful when asked questions or needing local information. The amazing breakfast buffet provided a wide variety of delicious foods (be sure to try the Swedish pancakes with fruit compote, slathered with whipped cream and topped with crunchy chocolate sprinkles!) and plenty of great coffee to fuel our exploration of Copenhagen and the little bar in the hotel lobby with a great selection of local beers and wines was a welcome respite after a long day of touristing. Copenhagen is such an amazing city, and the location of the Skandic Copenhagen hotel, near the Central Railroad station, Tivoli, and the Stroget, was very convenient for accessing the very best of downtown sightseeing. The lake in front of the hotel was a peaceful place for a contemplative stroll in the middle of a bustling city. We plan to stay here several more times as we use Copenhagen as a hub to explore Denmark, Sweden, and Scotland.

We were four adults traveling together and booked the suite and it worked out well. You basically have two rooms. Breakfast is expensive but cheaper if you book it the night before. It’s great for an early flight as it opens at 6:30. Would stay again - oh and the participate in the Sunflower program for invisible disabilities which was helpful for us.

If your room was ready early & you wanted to check in there was a fee! Never heard of that. Breakfast was very good. Easy 10 minute walk to main square.

Excellent place! Clean, close to things.

Kind staff. Room was small for 4 people. AC did not work well and room was warm.

We were asked if we wanted the room to be cleaned. Staff were helpful, knowledge and friendly. We didn't use the parking at the hotel but the car park was big and plenty of space. The hotel was 10 minutes walking distance to the centre, 5 minutes from Central Station and tivoli gardens.

Location good, otherwise just nothing special.

Close to central train station. Did not like the shower set up. Initial room did not have air cooler working but another room was provided.

Great breakfast, clean rooms all good. Only minor gripe was inconsistency in cleaning rooms which has to be requested by 11pm the evening before. Some rooms, were cleaned with no request. And no cleaning literally means rooms not checked at all, eg tea not replenished or towels changed. Overall did not detract from stay

We paid for a double room and the picture showed a double bed (as anyone would expect it to in a double room). The search option we'd chosen was for......1 bed. When we turned up we were given a room with 2 single beds in it. The hotel said we have to pay for an upgrade to get a room with a double bed, but we'd get it back from Hotels.com. So we contacted Hotels.com and yet they've done nothing, despite us using their website regularly. They've now offered a part payment. Why do companies think you'll be happy with part of the money you're owed. Would they accept a part payment for a room?! The customer service here has been very poor.
