I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in my time and don’t fill in many reviews. But felt that the staff and I mean all of them were the nicest and helpful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting for a long time , well done everyone

Nice location just outside of the town centre a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to the Roman baths. Reasonably modern Hotel with free breakfast and evening food available from the bar.. complements to the hotel staff we met during our check-in and stay. They were very friendly and courteous and helped solve a problem we had with air-conditioning. I would recommend staying here because of our positive experience but be aware of the downside of this hotel in that the cost of parking your car with the Hotel discount is £50 per 24 hour period. There are alternatives to park in a car park 15 minutes away which of course is difficult if you have luggage or mobility challenges.

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. Luckly we booked this room last year as the parking rates insite have gone up to ridiculous price. 50 pound per night. Car parks are approx 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

We only stayed a night and the elevator was not working so we had to carry all our bags and walk up. No one to help! And the Air Conditioning didn’t work in our room, it turned on for about 15-20 mins then shut off. We ended up having to get up in the middle of the night to turn it on a couple of times. Couldn’t manage to rest properly!!!!!😞😞😞😞😞

My teens were expected to stay on an uncomfortable pull out that was smaller than a love seat it was so uncomfortable the boys preferred sleeping on the floor.. With the bed pulled out there was no space if you wanted to look in your suitcase (we had 4 roll aboards and 4 back packs) you could only open them on the bed. There was not even a chair in our room not that there was space for one. The breakfast did not have many choices and was cold.

One of the worst Holiday Inns I would say. Dirty bathroom, unclean carpet and a breakfast which my dog might also refuse - English breakfast without eggs - seriously?! And mega watered down juice and guests struggling to find a seat in the breakfast room that was overcrowded. Seriously understaffed, resulting in a slow checkin process too. I won’t complain too much about a discounted parking charge of £50, as the room rates are way cheaper than other hotels without parking in the area. So if you add that up, it won’t hurt much. The only upside that has prevented the rating fall further are the staff members - super polite, helpful and professional. Special thanks to Harvey and the other lady (Kiera?) at the reception.

It is a good location from which to explore Bath and surrounding area, but it is not in the city center, although very short walk to the action. The property offers an expensive (very) parking option, but staff were quick to point a cheaper off site option a short distance away. Breakfast was a bit crowded and not too inspiring. The room was a little too tight for 2 adults and 2 kids, really. Once the sofa bed was opened, remaining space was very limited, but it was clean, and well kept. Kind of bland place, but it does the trick, good beds, clean, and reasonable location. Good value.

Incredible price for parking £80. Reduced to £50 per day. No wonder no one uses this hotel. You cannot pay over night. It has to be a day. We spent £100 for 12 hours. Breakfast finished at 10 at a weekend, almost as if the staff didn't want to serve and stay longer. Receptionist struggled to give the correct code for the reduced price parking. Which is still eye watering for 12 hours.
