We have returned to the beautiful Tregenna Castle many times over the years, and it never fails to impress. With its breathtaking views over St Ives and beautifully manicured grounds, it offers a truly special setting. From the warm welcome on arrival to the peaceful atmosphere throughout, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying everything the area has to offer. I had a really enjoyable stay in a spotlessly clean, cozy and quiet room. I was very pleased with the accessibility of my room and impressed with the size and cleanliness of the bathroom, everything was spotlessly clean and the room was warm, comfortable and smelled fresh. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and exceptionally helpful. I particularly enjoyed being able to wonder around the hotel grounds which are beautiful and have an almost magical secret garden feel to them, even in winter. Would love to revisit again to see how everything looks in different seasons, particularly the stunning views from the hotel grounds. I loved my stay here, will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.

We had the family two rooms. The rooms were clean. The reception and breakfast staff were very professional and helpful. We stayed 2 nights with breakfast, which was a good quality and plenty of choice. The hotel was very niecely decorated for xmas. We asked for an extra item and it was delivered by the housekeeping team, who also cleaned the room mid stay plus changed couple of towels. They did not have to do that. We also needed an extra remote control for the 2nd TV and this was promptly delivered by the maintenance team. The rooms were quite warm, too warm at times but you could open the window or switch off the radiator if too hot. The only criticism I have is that of an inside swimming pool, the water was cold, heated but needed extra 2-3 degrees, but they closed the pool for maintenance now so perhaps thats why the water was not prioritised to be heated more. There was a friendly employee at the entrance barrier to the hotel.

Didn't get a room in the hotel, which we were hoping for. Stayed in the courtyard. Didn't suit our needs as much as we wanted. However, the staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive we couldn't give less than the four stars. The only reason not 5 stars is we really didn't like the pool area and the children didn't want to go back in. Big shame as there isn't much else to do in winter in the rain. The food lovely and the staff here excelled in being helpful and accommodating with the children who don't like noisy crowds.
