Hôtel La Comtesse

We stayed at Hôtel La Comtesse to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—always kind, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. The room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable. It’s in a beautiful, central area of Paris with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference after long days exploring the city. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. This hotel made our special celebration even more memorable, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The location of the property was fine. However the aesthetics of the property was old, the bed was very low, pillows were not fluffy and there were mold in the shower. The decorative pillows on the bed were flat and looked old. In addition, the patio was dusty and furniture outside was filled with spider webs which I had clean before sitting on the furniture. The cost of the room was high in price- I guess that is based on the location/view of the Eiffel Tower.

We stayed in the Superior Room (Marquise) with Eiffel Tower side view for 5 nights, and it ended up being my biggest regret of the trip. I only booked this hotel because it was a last-minute trip and it was one of the few decent options left. From the moment we arrived, the front desk interaction felt uncomfortable. The agent (a man who appeared to be in his mid-to-late 40s or early 50s wearing glasses) came across as condescending during check-in. Shortly after arriving in the room, I called to ask if slippers were available since there weren’t any in the room. I was told they’re only offered in premium rooms, and the way this was said felt unnecessarily condescending and belittling. Within about an hour we returned to find the bathroom ceiling leaking, soaking the floor. When I went downstairs as requested after calling to report it, the same staff member responded with hostility, stating the hotel was fully booked even though I hadn’t asked to change rooms. We were moved for one night while repairs were done. He also added, in a very condescending and belittling manner, that it was “a very nice room.” Ironically, it was the Junior Suite with Eiffel Tower front view, which I’d have gladly booked had it been available. Because the front desk sits at the entrance, we had to pass the same staff member every time we came or left, making the stay consistently uncomfortable. Between the leaking ceiling and the front desk experience, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

The room was spotless and there was enough space to leave our bags open ( good because there was little storage except a small wardrobe and one shelf ) The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and quiet. The location was amazing .

Visiting Paris for the first time. Stay here! It's romantic, quiet, and clean. Many pictures from this hotel show the Eiffel Tower. The guest service folks were very helpful to my husband and me, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as the Aldi supermarket. Get yourself a bottle of champagne to take back to your room or on your walk to see the tower. Don't be like me, searching for the best hotel and location. This is the right location for the price!

Everything was incredible! The service at the reception, the early check-in arrangements we needed, the cleanliness of the room, the Tower view – they took care of everything with great excellence. The breakfast was wonderful, and the gentleman who greeted us every day at breakfast (please forgive me, I forgot to write down his name) was so kind! We will certainly be back!

Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated, making the stay feel luxurious but still very welcoming. One of my favorite parts was breakfast—delicious, fresh, and served in a charming setting with large windows looking out onto the Parisian streets. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, stylish, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The staff was kind, attentive, and professional, always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting Paris and want a hotel that combines location, comfort, elegance, and authentic Parisian charm, Hôtel La Comtesse is a perfect choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. 💫🇫🇷✨

Property very clean, front desk staff were polite and helpful. Room cleanliness was stellar, thought the room lacked space for personal belongings, comfortable bed, clean and tidy linens. Location was great, balcony view was lovely. Overall a nice hotel. Enjoyed our stay.
