The star rating on this property by various sources appears way too high. The rating and name and some photos imply it is a luxurious full service property. It is not. There is no one at the front desk from 10am to 8am. The street noise level, at lease in some rooms, is very loud. I was surprised the room did not come with a noise machine and ear plugs. One source stated airport shuttle - no such shuttle - they call you a taxi. The room itself is very very basic - nothing luxurious.

The room was spacious and the property is centrally located; that for the plus side.
Unfortunately, my stay was a nightmare. My window was right above a crowded restaurant-bar that kept on loud noises well after 1am. The sound proofing of the room was non-existent.
I rang reception at 11.30pm as I wanted to change room, but nobody picked up despite a clear indication that for emergencies service is guaranteed 24/7.
In addition, the mattress was old and not even; the general appearance of the room a touch worn-out.
Not getting sleep at a hotel is a huge no-cross line for me so I would not go back

When we arrived at the hotel a show was s the room , small little windows, larger window view a meter of window a roof smell like the room has not been open for a few days! Maybe because Air conditioning was off, room near breakfast! It were noises of doors closing , also from breakfast area! We were walk up at 6am because the window above our bed had no some block as the other ones so the light went straight to our faces! Next day told them about the noises and the window , so they came they cover the window with a cardboard boxes and tape!! Noises of the doors stop ! Breakfast , limited facilities but Irene went out of her way to help us!! Eggs were cold and first day they warm then up on a microwave!! This is a 4 star hotel!! Location for us was excellent !Prefer not to had all those inconveniences!! The staff trying to help, but so much they can do!

Staff was very helpful. Hotel location is very central and convenient to many of the sights. Be prepared, however, as it can be quite noisy during the night due to the crowds near the duomo.

Very friendly staff. The room was a bit worn. Trim in bathroom was showing some moisture damage and the curtains in the room were a bit dirty and tired. Great location and the balcony was a definite bonus.

The room had NO HOT WATER to shower in the morning before leaving for our flight. No one to call because no one at desk until 8:30am. I believe there was an emergency number but o doubt they would have been able to get hot water in less than an hour.
