I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Japan. The rooms are incredibly large compared to other Japanese hotels. The amenities are complete, and the bathroom is compact but has everything. Most importantly, the station is only 160 meters away, right in front of the hotel, so staying here is a great option for those looking to explore Japan.

Subway line is just in front of the hotel. JR Line is also very near, just across the road. There is Family Mart in the same building. Stayed for 5 nights, they cleaned and changed the towels and pyjamas every day. Love this hotel.

Overall, we were happy to spend 6 nights at MyStays Gotanda Station Hotel, only 4 minutes to JR Gotanda Station, and around the hotel there is a LOT of food, if you want delicious halal food there is also Grill Hunter (± 450 m from the hotel, just walk 7min). Tips if you want to book, ask for a room on the left side (we were in room 225), room 225 is not as noisy as written in the previous review, because it is on the 1st side, not the side facing the train tracks. There are laundry rooms on the 5th and 10th floors, don't forget to prepare JPY100 coins, the detergent can be bought at the Family Mart in the lobby, if you want the clothes to dry ±80% dry, then during the drying process choose 1 hour, so just stay in the room It just needs to be aired out a little. So from the start of washing to the end of drying it takes 1 hour, prepare ±2 hours so you don't rush;) For those who want to send their suitcases directly to Haneda/Narita, you can help at the front desk, the service is usually next day. If you send suitcases to another city or to Kansai airport like us, it takes around 2-3 working days, the price, if I'm not mistaken, for a max 25 kg suitcase is around 300 thousand. Hopefully it's useful 😊.

This hotel is in strategic location. Near gotanda station. Staff friendly. I’ve shipped my baggage from osaka before and they accept my baggage 2 days before my check in date. Even the baggage already sent to my room when I check in. The room nice and clean. Definitely will stay in this hotel again if I back to Japan.

Staff told me that I could extend till 11:30am to check out but another staff told me that I could not. There is inconsistency. Typically hotel will demonstrate some grace for slightly late check out. They should be overly uptight, and most importantly, it has to be consistent.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large. Lots of room even with 3 beds. I used the laundry room at the hotel. It had about 5 washers and dryers on the 5th floor. They were always available when I went to use them (between 3 - 7 pm) which I had been concerned about before going to Japan. It was so convenient. The main train station (Gotanda Station) was across the street from the hotel and there was plenty of shopping (a Donki store maybe 2 blocks away), restaurants (highly recommend Devil Craft just next door to the hotel) and nightlife all within easy walking distance from the hotel. Not to mention the Family Mart attached to the hotel. We stopped in there every night. I can't praise this hotel and area enough. It was a perfect stay for us - me and my two adult sons.

The fact the shower had half a ceiling, running lengthwise, lower than the other half was bad. The lower half being at nose level was horrible!!! Hit my head multiple times trying to shower!

Loved the location, close to everything especially the family mart directly downstairs. There's a super market close by and restaurants around everyone corner. The station is across the street and only 3 stops from Shibuya and 4 from Harajuku.

The hotel was good and located next to the train station. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for two people in the double room, but we made it work, and we’d stay again. Washers and dryers are available onsite, and the staff were really nice and attentive.

This hotel was a gem during our stay in Tokyo. It is adjacent to the Gotanda Station (Yamote Line) with direct access to Shingawa, Shibuya, Harajiku, and more. Such easy convienient launching place. In spite of the many reviews complaining about train noise, we didn't find that to be an issue at all. It's a city. Cities are rarely quiet in my opinion. The beds were comfortable and rooms larger than other hotels I've stayed in in Tokyo. Downstairs is a Family Mart, across the street is an organic market, and a couple doors down was a Lawson's Natural. There are restaurants in the area, but I can not speak to them as we were always out and about for meals. When we return to Tokyo this will be our go to choice for hotels.
