The room is complete with a stove, washing machine, microwave, water heater, frying pan and cooking utensils. Conveniently close to the station. There is a free ice machine, free coffee, very friendly staff. There is a luggage delivery service at the hotel. What is clear is that for me, a Muslim who has a hard time finding halal food, this hotel is very enjoyable because I can cook and there are many supermarkets around it. ♥️♥️♥️

Great location near station, direct service to Narita airport. Near Meguro river beautiful Sakura. Staff were wonderful, guest interaction activities (take a photo of Sakura at meguro river and show to staff for souvenir!), special experience when Ono taught Hou to fold origami cherry blossom!

Tokyo Stay Gotanda was perfect for our 2 week stay in Tokyo! First of all, Gotanda station is a 3 minute walk making it super easy to get around by train. The peace and quiet is unmatched to other hotels. Tokyo Stay is so quiet that I never heard one other person outside our room during the 2 weeks we were there. I really loved that our room had a window that opened and allowing fresh air in. I'm not a fan of being trapped on a top floor with no outside air. The room was definetely a bit smaller than what I think US visitors are used to but that's normal for Tokyo hotels if you're on a budget. Staff were friendly and welcomed us back every evening. Overall, if you're looking for quiet, low cost and a convenient location to stay near Tokyo proper, Tokyo Stay Gotanda is perfect. I read that Gotanda Station gets risky at night, but I never saw anything unsavory. We even arrived at 1am the first night and felt totally safe. 10/10 would recommend for your first, or any visit!

Close to station, front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. There is coffee in the lobby as well as complimentary water or juice. The room is small but had a washer/dryer, small refrigerator, microwave and hot pot in the room. The surrounding area has a lot of shops and restaurants. Reasonable rate.

I stayed in two different types of rooms during my 11-day trip. Initially, I booked a larger room for two people for the first two nights. The room was a bit dated and quite noisy; I heard water running through the pipes and strange mechanical sounds at night, which impacted my sleep. For the remaining days, I stayed on my own. This room was better than the first, though the cleanliness was not spotless and could be improved. The staff members are generally helpful and the location is excellent.

This is a great hotel, conveniently located to public transport, good facilities and an in-room laundry and microwave - very convenient, details translated for ease of use and works well. The staff are excellent and very helpful to foreigners that don’t speak the language. For those folks that haven’t been to Japan, some of the surrounding areas can seem a little dodgy but are quite safe.

The hotel is well located just across from the JY Yamanote line. Also close to Tokyu Square with lots of stores and restaurants. Staff is very accommodating and helpful while the rooms are clean and well equipped. Especially loved that there was a washer/dryer right in the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tokyo stays Gotanda. I like this area of Tokyo for my stays as it is close to everything and fairly straight forward to get to HND. Our hotel room was bigger than most other budget hotels in Tokyo we have stayed at. And it had a good sized refrigerator and even a washer and dryer in the room. Closet space and a wardrobe to store our suitcases and clothes for the week. I would not hesitate to stay here again. There is a 7/11 next door and the Donki store is around the corner as is a big grocery store and the Gotanda train station.

Everything about Tokyu Stay Gotanda is great! Staff is wonderful! We have stayed at other Tokyu Stays and this one does seem older, but we will come back as we love the amenities at Tokyu Stay Gotanda and cleanliness and location!!! It was nice to be offered cold bottled drinks in the afternoon!

Fantastic hotel!! Front desk staff was very friendly and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. The location is great, there is an entrance to the train station right outside the front door. Also, the front desk will hold your luggage after checking out. Really fantastic and comfortable stay, 11/10 stars!
