It was just a day trip, and this hotel definitely served its purpose. The premises were very clean, with simple yet comfortable amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a sound sleep.
The breakfast was the highlight of our stay—the taste and variety were absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every single bite! A big thank you to the chefs over there.
Overall, it’s a lovely place that offers excellent value for money. It was definitely worth more than what we paid.

The room is very well kept and clean, comfy mattress for a good night's sleep. Staff is friendly during check-in and out. It comes with a signature welcome cookie which is so delicious.

Had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Penang. The warm welcome at check-in, clean and cozy room, and overall service were excellent. The location is convenient, close to popular spots around Batu Ferringhi. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Would definitely come back for another stay!

rooms were good & spacious, although bathroom was a little small.
the shaving mirror was hanging off the wall which make it hard to use.
the room was quite and sleeping was easy.
nice pool area with padded loungers. despite the size of the hotel we allways managed to get somewhere to lounge.

Carpark view. Can pay more for higher room with better view if you want. Friendly and Helpful staff. There’s a connection to the beach via overhead bridge only accessible by hotel guests. Breakfast nice selection. No need to go early if you want. If you have to checkout early, can request the front counter to prepare breakfast to take away. Hotel is old but is well kept. Nice place. Have to use Grab to travel around but very easy and affordable.

The rooms themselves were very spacious and the pool area was very clean with comfortable loungers. Breakfast was also tasty with a good mix of western and local food.
Th reason for my 3 star review is that it is advertised as having direct access to the beach when actually it is across an over pass and tou have to scramble across boulders to reach the sand. The second point is that it is advertised as being 16 mins walk from the night market when it’s actually 45 min walk and roads are so windy with no pavement that it would not be safe to do so.
However the hotel is on a bus route which is super handy as bus to Batu Ferranghi area costs 1.40R and only takes 5 mins.

Room felt dark and decor felt old and dated. Beds were comfortable. There was a damp, musty smell and the surfaces felt damp. Room should be clean, dry and fresh. Staff were professional.

Friendly staff (especially those in the restaurant), our stay were very good except the gym condition as the clean-up schedule doesn't seem to be keeping up and our time in the gym were always without towels.
