Radisson Blu Resort, Malta St. Julian's

Wouldn’t recommend. Especially off season. The main outdoor pool was closed, the remaining one open but not heated and was far colder than the sea. They had multiple late night loud events ongoing whilst we stayed and didn’t take into consideration the customers who’d paid to sleep there just the extra income they could get. The staff were rude and unhelpful when we flagged concerns or issues with them

Customer service is seriously lacking in this hotel. Check in took 40 mins, room was set up wrong, said they would change went I went out for evening, only to come back and find it was still same wrong bed arrangements Bathroom wasn’t clean, grime and first everywhere Fridge didn’t work, tv only had 2 channels No plugs next to bed

Great and newly remodeled

Great hotel, all the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. The facilities , restaurants and food were excellent. Just what we expected from a Radisson.

The hotel is a bit dated and musty in the hotel room. The amenities of the hotel are not 5 star either… I did appreciate the staff and hospitality overall but if you have allergies, the dated rooms may trigger them.

The hotel does not have an airport shuttle as advised on Hotels.com but a taxi can easily be booked for 20 Euros each way at airport. Great buffet breakfast choice. Good pool facilities. Great restaurant choices. Great location for St Julian’s. Saturday night buffet was excellent. Overall very good holiday base.

I had an amazing time. The resort was beyond breathtaking. It has everything one needs for a well deserved break away from Spa, several swimming pools, several restaurants and bars… I will definitely return there many times in the future and will also bring my family there to experience the joy of being so close to the sea

The Bathroom was disappointing for a junior suite and should have a walk in shower and not one over the bath.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! I would say the pool staff are rather unfriendly at the wet bar and after seeing the same guys everyday for 2 weeks you would think they could crack a small every once in a while - not the standard of a 5* hotel. However, the Chef at breakfast, I believe Sef was his name. Was lovely, he always went above an beyond to meet our requests. Thanks!

Lovely staff! A little bit of a walk into town with building work going on but didn’t bother us at all! Very nice hotel.

Great place to stay, excellent staff.

Service was excellent, staff were very welcoming and polite especially the lovely lady who checked me in. Unfortunately I forgot her name. The hotel was very nice and clean just a few things I stayed in were like the hallway leading to the room had a moist smell, could do with a diffuser in the hallway. Also the bathroom in the room I stayed in had the door edge splitting away. Some of the grout inbetween the bathroom tiles had slight mould which is probably due to lack of deep cleaning. The pool could do with a daily clean as that’s the usual practice I have seen when staying at 5 star hotels. The facilities were great though at the hotel. One thing I did not like was that I could not get late check out for the rooms but I guess this was due to availability. However the reception team did allow me to check out an hour late on one of the two rooms I stayed in. So thank you for that.

Good hotel with brilliant sea view.

Unfortunately our stay with Radisson Blu was not as enjoyable as we expected it to be. Starting with the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel, from room to gym to pools to toilets, you name a space and it was dirty. All areas are tidy, but they are not properly clean. After using the gym on the first day, I had to go to reception to ask them to send someone to mop the floor as there was hair and dust everywhere. The pools are not cleaned with the frequency needed and you can see mold on the sides and debris on the water. The gym also did not have enough equipment and it was very small. PLEASE AVOID THE BREAKFAST BUFFET! It’s not worth what they charge you for it. The pastries are not fresh, the variety is not great and the quality of the products served is not good. I had food poisoning twice in a week after having had breakfast there. The yoghurts are kept in a cooled surface, but they stay there for hours and the whole room feels warm. I must confess that I should have ditched the yoghurt after the first food poisoning episode, but I insisted and it didn’t end up well for me. The facility looks dated and they even keep broken furniture in the corridors. Why?! I have no idea, maybe just bad taste or general bad management. The staff was kind and helpful and the location was good, but these are the only good things about this place. Spend your money elsewhere, this place was probably bette in the past, but not anymore.

Had a wonderful family room with sea view and balcony. Hotel is set in a beautiful location in easy walk of the town. Polite, welcoming staff, hotel is clean and the amenities and food options are wonderful. Will definitely try and come back!! Highly recommend.

⁰excellent staff and friendly place. Kids enjoyed all of the pools. Nothing too much trouble
