The service at reception was terrible. The room was awful; there was no hot water in the bathroom, the bed shook, and there was a water leak in the bathroom. I told them about it, but they didn't seem to react or care. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

the staff were very courteous and helpful. We were given a room which was not a superior one. I complained and they moved us to another room the next day. The room was clean and quiet. It had facilities to make tea and coffee, a tv and internet connection too. Both bathrooms needed proper maintenance as they had mould on the mastic and grout. The sink had no plug so could not be used for shaving or washing.

Reception staff friendly, but useless when it's about to solve problems. House keeping knocking at your door before 8am. Beds are old and unstable. Walls are thin. Water gets cold after 5 mins. Sometimes there's no pressure in showers. And sink stinks. Elevator is noisy if you're staying on the upper floors. Staircase between floor 3 and 4 smells cat piss. Wi-fi is bad or non-existent in the upper floors. Sauna isn't working. Poolside not too bad but no views and surrounded by higher buildings. Breakfast is fine and the only thing worth the price in this hotel, and the staff there are really friendly and professional. You'd better pay twice the price and go somewhere else, they know the building is old, they know many things are not functional and they just don't care.

An hour to find me a room thag i had pre booked, no shower door and shower kept goimg off and on. Horrendous cold and dark room. Never again.

Well located hotel but poor facilities. The hotel needs renovation.

I stayed here as there was meant to be a pool and jacuzzi and sauna but on my arrival I discovered both the sauna and jacuzzi were out of action. This was very disappointing. Reception said they might be ok tomorrow. They weren't and even worse the pool area was locked with a sign saying the pool was closed due to works. No works occurred all day so to lock us out of using the sunbeds was outrageous.

Disappointing yet you get used to it. 2 lifts are provided but 1 was out of order and the second is slow and stops at every floor or sometimes stopping at wrong floor. It is a 4 star hotel for the services yet you really cannot use the services such as bar, we'll I didn't bother trying to us. I really wanted to use the jacuzzi and swimming pool, but they were too dirty to use and Jacuzzi out of order. Room was tidy but the condition was not clean enough. Each floor had mould smell, they were trying to mask the smell and the mould with painting. The breakfast building had strong smell of mould that hurt my throat for 3 days. Half the time the provision was not provided by concierge because they didn't have what we needed. The noise was not good as the noise of the lift was constant, you can hear it operating. No sound proof as people in corridors talking, you can hear. Aside from the bad stuff, these are the good things: tv works, air con works, water and toilet works well. Room door key works well, I love it as it is easy to lock and unlock. They provided things we needed the next day. Breakfast food were right temperature and abundance supplied. A HD smart TV was added on my last day of the breakfast. Staff were nice, they did their job and cleaned well. This is clearly NOT a 4 star hotel, it is a 2 star hotel. Strange thing is I started growing custom to the hotel, or getting used to it.

Excellent location and nice pool on the roof!

We loved the location of the property, walking distance from the fond gadir and many restaurants which made it easy. The room was nice and bathroom also good. The only thing I would mention is that the balcony handrail was not secure.

Wi-Fi spotty. Down all night. Cable went out. Elevators (lifts) on their last legs. Rooftop pool was ok. Refreshing. Breakfast was sufficient.

The property is so so! Location is good, quiet and safe. Room is not good in terms of pricing, elevator works but makes sound, no internet in 4th floor, no intercom or telephone in the room. Room service nil. Breakfast has limited options and very same everyday!

Should be classified as a youth hostel. Towels were threadbare. Only given one bath towel for 2 of us; when I asked for 2, we were given 2 but then not given a hand towel. The toilet seat was literally stuck to the bowl and came away on day 2. Sink plug didn’t work. Pillows - lumpy. Beds wouldn’t have looked or felt out of place in an army barracks. No outlets near bed to charge phones, had to move desk and mini fridge to get to them. Balcony door left wide open by the cleaners and with safe being too small to fit a laptop that could have been stolen. There was no phone, no amenities. The hairdryer had some sort of gunge over it, potentially a fire hazard. TV only showed you tube. It was extremely noisy. We checked out 6 days before we were due to do so and stayed at a fabulous hotel.

Simple hotel at a reasonable price. What could be improved: * pillows (lumpy) and sheets (too small, so two separate sheets needed to fully cover the bed) * communication with the clients (I wasn't briefed on the time and the location of the breakfast room, which needed to be accessed from a separate entrance) Good points: * Friendly and helpful reception (albeit a bit slow, but we are in Malta, aren't we? :-) ) * Daily service and general cleanliness (although the service could be a bit more consistent: I was getting a different number of towels every time :-) ) * Not too noisy (I may have been more lucky than some other guests who left negative comments. There were some parties happening in the vicinity, but they were clearly people enjoying life rather than trying to be mean to the neighbours) * Pleasant area, less touristy than some other spots, still with wide variety of food places.

The Windsor Hotel getting better and better It is my favorite hotel. The service is excellent. The manager, Mr. Trevor, is very professional, kind, and friendly. He always welcomes me. Also, the receptionist day time top man Ganti, is very polite and provides high-quality service and night time Vikhan professional work and kind too. I always feel comfortable and safe during my stay I can't wait to go back again and again.👍

Very nice and kind personnel. For confort, there was none unfortunately because of a bunch of italian teenagers who ran up and down the floors and hallways. Their teachers nor the hotel management had any control on the kids. It was chaos. No education at all. Therefore, the hotel has lost a positive comment from me. They should hire someone to check the floors often....

No problems at all. Everything bad that I read in some of the poor reviews on here, didn't apply. Lifts and door locks were fine, the staff were pleasant, and the room was cleaned every couple of days. It was very quiet on my stay, and I only saw a couple of other guests. Didn't get chance to try out the pools as it was a bit too cold. Location is good, and it's only a 2-3 minute walk to the bus stop which you can use to travel to the airport, Valletta, St. Julian's etc. A bargain for less than £25 a night!

Centrally located, walking distance to the beach and eateries. However, the hotel needs updatiing-place is old, rooms are small, needs painting, beds in poor condition, everything looks old. For one night may be good.
