The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was small but cozy and the sheets were clean. The location was nice. The building was older but it is as expected and added to the atmosphere of the location. Super convenient to the food, museum area and the metro is also close by. And of course the cute cat!

We booked this hotel with a non-refundable rate, and I understand what that means. However, our trip had to be canceled due to the U.S. bombing Iran, which was completely out of our control. I was really disappointed that the hotel wouldn’t work with us at all—not even offering to reschedule or provide a credit. Losing $323 with zero flexibility felt frustrating given the circumstances. I just wish there had been a little more understanding and willingness to help from the staff.

When i arrived was put in room 502, as soon as setting foot into the room i felt like i was being eaten alive.... Swarming with flies and bed bugs. Had to ask for a new room and ask for towels. The staff are lovely which is why I'm even giving any stars

For what we paid, no complaints. Great location! The staff was super friendly! The only thing is the stairs getting up to the room are VERY steep. We had to walk very slowly, so we wouldn’t fall on our face.

All bad reviews are TRUE. This place is literally crumbling apart. I was in room 106, where the wooden window frames were completely rotten, and the freezing November wind was chilling me to the bone. The sheets were stained, and the carpets were too. Because I was forced to move the bed, I was able to find all kinds of trash there. To make things worse, they charged me twice with a 50 EUR "security deposit". One of the charges was reversed, but the other one went through, and my bank is now charging me for it.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. There was lots of dust in the room and stains everywhere, even on all of the walls. The hotel did not have fresh towels available. When we complained about the room, the hotel staff offered to either do a deep clean the next morning (we still would have had to sleep in that dirty room for the first night) or give us a different room at their sister hotel. We checked out the other room they offered and it looked worse than the one we had booked! By far the worst cleaning I have ever seen in a hotel, very infuriating. For your own health, do not stay at this hotel.

We got a pretty upstairs room, the elevator was broken which is inconvenient when traveling with bags, the staff kindly offered to help however. There was no remote control in the room for the TV, and the room is so small that the door cannot open all the way, but otherwise we liked the room and it’s quirks for the price.
