Budget hotel, but the room was modern and much bigger than expected considering I chose the cheapest option. Excellent location, a few minutes walk from Oslo Central Station. Clean, safe and an excellent price for location. Self service check in / out took minutes, very straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

No amenities not even a water bottle or coffee in the room. Construction work across a one lane street was noisy. A conscience hotel would post it is in a Construction Zone. Strawberry’s Comfort Xpress established that its personnel will lie to get business, and the price gouge lodgers. Reserved at $139/night. I was then told there were NO rooms available for an extra night. Suddenly, an extra appeared (actually the Xpress was mostly empty as a fire alarm prove). The charge for one extra night was $305!! At check in I was told the rate would be a little higher…Right, more than Double.

It is a shame the hotel doesn't have any breakfast, lunch or dinner, but you vcan walk one a and a half bolcks to another Comfort Hotel and have it at a fair price

There was no drinking water in the room nor any electric kettle. We had to get water from the reception. There is no self laundry and we had to walk 10 mins to another Comfort Hotel to do the self laundry which is payable for NEK90. Location is very central. Rooms are very small and the double room bed is only big enough for one adult.

If anything, the compact rooms (1 GUEST) were very good value considering the excellent location: Great for transport hubs; shops; sightseeing its all immediately close. I'm not a very 'needy' traveller, yet; the staff are very tentative, chatty and give good local advice...approached!
