All meals including Fikka were provided. At the moment there’s a construction site opposite which worked on Saturday and very early Monday. Close your windows and it’s okay. Fairly close to the train station, which is what we needed. Even though there’s a strike on with maid staff you’d never tell. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the train station , Opera house and lots of shops and food places.We choose this hotel as it offered an evening meal included which was really nice and lots of choices at breakfast and evening meal. There was also an afternoon sweet treat and coffee and tea to help yourself throughout the day. It was a very quiet hotel and very friendly staff.

Great location, just a 15 minute walk from the Oslo central train station. Large well equipped room with a nice bathroom. Both breakfast and dinner included! And both were very good. Lots of sites to see within walking distance or a short ride on one of the city trams.

Would have been a five star review if it wasn't for the cleanliness of the room, specifically the bathroom. Not a huge fan of showers that are on the same height as the rest of the bathroom floor either, as the water from the shower would spill all around the rest of the bathroom. The toilet wasn't very clean when we arrived and neither was the floor of the bathroom. Otherwise a great hotel, the room was great, the staff were great. Good to know, because we weren't told: daily cleaning service is NOT provided unless you ask for it the night before.

The whole Hotel was excellent. The Breakfast, Fika and Dinner were very good. Loved the sauna and fireplace in the dining room. But the best part of the whole stay was Alisa the afternoon desk clerk. She was so nice and any questions we had or requests we made she did her best to make it happen. Excellent employee… Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!

Hotel Bastin was perfectly close located to tte dock of our cruise ship. Walking to the opera house and Christmas market was all an easy walk. Tte moment we entered the hotel we felt welcomed. The breakfast has a wide variety of food, all delicious! Dinner and afternoon Fika we enjoyed very much in a home atmosphere, sitting on tables next to the fireplace was so inviting during cold winter days. Would book it again!
